March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 / Ages: 10 and up / Fee: Free / Main Pavilion / Thursdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. The Siesta Beach Ambassadors co-host Beach University, a series of environmental education seminars about our beaches and coastal ecosystems.

KIDS’ SUMMER BEACH RUNS

June 6-July 25 / Ages: 1-17 / Fee: Free / Beach / Tuesdays, 5:30-7 p.m. This one-mile fun run for kids is a summer favorite and a great opportunity for families to exercise together and have fun at the beach! Weekly registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with runs starting at 6:30 p.m. Kids receive a participation ribbon at each run. Complete four runs and earn a free custom T-shirt. For details, call 311.
