Caring for mother and child at Marikina Maternity Clinic & Lying In resulted from the inspiration derived by the owner from her own “calling.” In her own words, Ms. Aileen shared that she wants to inspire other women and her colleagues.

This feisty nurse, clinical instructor, and mother of four rolled into one, dreams that someday her my humble clinic will be a by word, a brand that carries a good reputation, and eventually become a hospital for women and their children.

Her initial business venture was a Lying In back in 2009 as suggested by Mr. Jeffrey Trinidad, her friend and former colleague from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina. Ms. Aileen seek the help of a friend and mentor, Ms Naggie Zaragosa of Nagie and Cynthia Lying In who referred her to an NGO for Training and Financing of the Start up.

First and foremost a nurse, Ms. Aileen felt that putting up a maternity and lying in clinic is her calling. She sees herself growing professionally in this field, catering to the needs of the middle and lower class women in the communities near her area, where her God given talents will be of use and honed to be a significant player in the maternal health area.

She confessed that she takes her inspiration from the countless number of women she came across with in the communities while she was a student nurse and eventually as a clinical instructor. She took it upon herself to educate and to take care of the Filipino women’s reproductive health with quality service at a price they can afford. Thus to be inspired is to inspire other women and her colleagues towards her l dream that her

humble clinic will be a by word, a brand that carries a good reputation, and eventually become a Hospital for the women and their children someday. Her concept is to be able to have a center for women who needs reproductive care and protection from violation of women’s rights Realizing the risks of being in charge of the mother’s life during delivery and postpartum, clerical error and its correction costs in handling birth certificates and other horror stories in the field of practice, the malpractices, the cases, and the risks of being bankrupt, she learned to be vigilant, careful and straight.

On the customers’’ side, she wish that they all become participative ad educated about the expanded Service Delivery Network in health. become Philhealth members and participate actively in this National Program.

With regards to the cost of the services, she said the price should be that’s well within the capacity of the patient coupled with information on range of price and the worth of the services that can be availed.

For her future plans, upgrading to DOH standards by 2015 is of primary importance. She also plans to provide ancillary services (laboratory) in few months time, expand the place, more training for her midwives, more systematized service, provide admission kits, and offer monthly mothers classes for pregnant and postpartum mothers. MMCLI also wishes to participate in more outreach programs like they used to do, and to reopen their Tumana branch if possible.

frizz free. The service costs Php 600, while their signature “Zenchi Amare Massage” costs Php 250.00 only.

Zenchi Amare has its own professional hairstylist who is not only pleasant to her customers but attentive and a pro at her craft as well. I love what the treatment she did for my hair. Now, I can just blow dry and go. I don't need to use a flat iron to make my hair look smooth, with no frizz.

After the hair treatment, my tired body is longing for a relaxing massage so I tried their signature “Zenchi Amare Massage”. My visit to this spa turned out to be a very unique pampering experience. I had a relaxing body and comfort-inducing massage service performed by an expert therapist, with complimentary drinks to boot.

Thanks to Zenchi Amare Salon and Spa for the ultimate self-pampering experience. I was really pampered! I will definitely come back for another visit.
