The Run that made a ‘Difference’ The smile that adored the faces of young hopeful kids in Brgy. Tumana, Marikina City was indeed a sight to behold.

The even was the offshoot of the “Takbo Mo, Gamit Ko!” the first ever fun run organized by Juan City Market on May 13, 2012, to raise funds for the school supplies of less fortunate grade school students in Marikina City.

As one of the barangay beneficiaries of the event, smiling school kids with their equally glad parents in tow warmly welcomed the staff of Juan City Market who visited from Brgy. Tumana last May for the distribution of free school supplies. Same with

Marikina Heights and Mahay (Boystown).

As each smiling kid receive their share of school supplies, the indescribable feeling of extending assistance to the education of these grade school students, how little it may seem, truly sends a warm feeling to the heart.

Juan City Market is without a doubt very happy to be part of this worthwhile and momentous event. This noble undertaking doesn’t stop with the fund-raising funrun as we hope to organize more events of this kind in the future to help other less fortunate members of the community. to next page>>

At first, she was only baking for her family and friends until her cakes became popular with the help of social media. She received requests on facebook to put up a bakeshop. And so, they opened the bakeshop on May 18, 2012. The shop is chic and elegant, perfect for showcasing her delicious food.

Aside from selling cakes, cupcakes, breads and other baked goodies, she also sells baking ingredientssuch as almonds, cashew nuts, cocoa powder at a lower price for her fellow bakers. In fact, she plans on expanding her list of baking supplies.

Her shop has been well received by the community since the opening. These are the bestsellers that you must try when you visit her shop:

Banana Cake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Chocolate Decadent Fudge Cake, Red Velvet, Cream Puff and their house specialty cake, Honey Molly Crunch Cake.I’m sure more will be added to your list after you pay your visit.
