Thank you to all the purchasers of Windy Gables genetics in last year’s sale and we hope you are as excited about our offering in 2014 as we are. Brian & Holli TERRY & BRANDON HOLLINGSWORTH ORONO, ON Res: (905) 786-2425 Cell: (905) 718-2185 brh_eggman@hotmail.com From everyone here at Red Maple Farms we’d like to welcome you to the 2nd Annual Colours of Autumn Limousin Sale! With cattle prices at an all-time high, now is the perfect chance to jump on the wagon and acquire some top quality limousin genetics. We are offering what we think are cattle that will work in any operation big or small, the heifer calves are stout, straight in their lines, very eye appealing, and have the potential of producing great ones just as their mothers did raising them. The bred heifer is a younger age, but don’t let that steer you away, she is long sided, bred right, and extremely functional. If you can’t make it to the sale, be sure to give us a call or stop in for a visit at the farm to see the cattle, we’d be happy to discuss any of the sale cattle with you that you’re interested in. Wulfs Yankee
Wulfs Apostle T343A has the pedigree, EPD tabulation and phenotype to be a herdsire with global impact. With his deep cherry red color and impeccable disposition, he has been a standout since an early age. He was possibly the crowd favourite of the Wulf carload in Denver. However, Apostle gained the most notoriety for being the top selling lot of the 2014 Wulfs Opportunity Sale where breeders from across the US joined together giving him the years top valuation. Even more impressive was the fact that his dam, Wulfs Ultra Diamond 8571U, also produced the 2nd high seller, Wulfs Amazing Bull T341A, who is a 3/4 brother as well as several other top lots. This coupled with the fact that he is a son of the performance leader, Wulfs Yankee K689Y, all but insures that Apostle will have an influence on the genetic advancement of the Limousin breed. DKC Yard Master 4Y was our top pick from Dave Clark’s bull pen in 2012 and boy did he ever impress us with the group of calves he left behind. Bahama Mamma has brood cow look written all over her, raised by a Pure Power daughter who was a featured tied heifer in the 2008 Wulf’s Sale who has a wicked udder and tons of volume. This girl has the makings to become a great addition to any herd!

SELLING ON CHOICE! We can’t decide which of these show heifers to sell. Brian makes a good case why they should sell Brown-Eyed Girl. Holli presents and even stronger case why they should keep Ivy.Ivy is the 2014 Reserve Champion heifer calf at the Ontario Provincial show in Markham in October. In that same show Brown-Eyed Girl was first in her heat and is on track going to the RAWF in the Junior heifer calf class. Either of these calves would make wonderful 4-H Yearling projects for next year and we would be happy to assist any junior member going to the CJLA Conference in Stratford with this endeavor. You Pick....
