Never in the history of the beef industry has it been as exciting and rewarding as it is right now. Record calf sales, a proped up cull market and an extreme shortage of livestock for all markets make “right now the time to add to or improve your herd. The Angus influence continues to dominate the world wide production of beef because of functionality. efficiency and consistant end product. As in years past the consignors this year are offering cattle from the very hearts of their respective programs. The young pairs, bred and open heifers are all but guaranteed to grow into money as the market forecast to only get stonger. Look forward to a great set of cattle at Hoards Station and prepare to capitalize on this modern market with value added Angus genetics. If we can be of any assistance feel free to give us a call, text or email. Indian River Cattle Co.,

Hoard’s Station Community Livestock Exchange Since 1949 Welcome to Hoards Station If it seems as though farmers in Eastern Ontario are missing every Tuesday afternoon, it might just be the truth. Starting at noon, Hoards Station Community Livestock Exchange hosts a weekly Livestock auction. Every Tuesday there are a variety of livestock going through the barn including pigs, sheep, goats, dairy cattle, springers and beef cattle. It’s not uncommon to see horses, donkeys, mules and llamas as well. And don’t forget the lunch counter where local church groups host home-cooked meals for the crowd. Along with our regular Tuesday sale we also have special cow sales, stocker sales and host other purebred events. Hoards Station welcomes the 2015 Ottawa Valley Angus Club Classic Sale. After last year’s successful inaugural event, we are very excited to host Angus enthusiasts from across Ontario to evaluate this good offering. As with all of our auctions, we strive to make your sale a success so please do not hesitate to ask us for help.
