Andrew Griffiths ROCKS OUR KPI WORLD
introduction
Glen Carlson BOSS
What is it about those rare and precious people that effortlessly and without agenda or premeditation manage to change our lives for the better? These people, just by their way of being somehow manage to make us feel good about ourselves; as though we can do more. As though we can be more. That we were in fact born to be and do more. These remarkable people don’t just get us thinking bigger, they get us acting bigger because, there they are. Standing in our corner with a bucket and a towel, committed to our cause. As though our cause, is their cause. These people, and I don’t know how they do it, don’t just show up and offer their support, wisdom and camaraderie to one lucky soul. Or even two or three. These people, somehow, without visible strain or frustration are able to be this kind of person for thousands of people. And yet, we feel like we're the only one with their full attention. I don’t understand exactly how these people, these fully expressed souls do what they do, but I do know this: Andrew Griffiths is one of them. Andrew isn’t just a friend and he isn’t just a teacher. Andrew is a gentle, kind, generous and immutable force of nature that, like some brilliant act of genesis naturally transforms the lives of everyone he touches and in doing so, I believe, helps them become just a little more like him. Andrew, thank you for rocking our world.

Andrew Griffiths is the most kind, big-hearted, generous and insightful person. He’s motivational. He’s fun. He’s made it possible for hundreds of people to live their dream and achieve things they never thought possible - namely, to become authors themselves and follow in his footsteps. I honestly have never met anyone quite like him, he’s a complete one-of-a-kind; a true key person of influence

Getting the Right Balance For the BG1 ‘Covers that Rock’ competition –sitting amongst all the others was my cover. When the feedback was given and the winners announced my poor cover was nowhere to be seen or heard. Mine was missed totally. Andrew Griffiths was incredibly apologetic as you can imagine, but the really cool thing was – I received in the mail my own personal bundle of Andrew Griffiths books, all beautifully personalised to me, plus a marketing DVD, plus a hand written AG card. My card is still beside my bed and reads Dear Alison, My apologies again for the cover mix up. Enjoy some gifts – your cover is fantastic. Cheers AG x There is an and to this. “Successful people don’t play victim”. The times when I start feeling sorry for myself I remember these words along with other wise words from AG. Thank you for your inspiration and kindness and the way you make each one of us feel special.

I started KPI as a boring accountant with no idea what on earth I could write about that hadn’t already been written. Two years on and I ’m finishing my 2nd book with ideas for the 3rd already in hand. Absolutely not a single word would have been written without your guidance, frameworks, encouragement, support and advice. Your generosity knows no bounds. You have touched us all and we have gone way out of our comfort zones within the warmth and security of your support. Words cannot adequately describe the impact you have had on my life. Mega thank you

Where's my super gone?
To me Andrew Griffiths is the epitome of what a KPI is. He lives and breathes KPI and practices it 100% every day. Without Andrew I doubt that any of us would have published a book and he ignited that passion for many of us. He always puts a smile on your face and is the best mentor anyone could hope for. I absolutely love listening to him speak and and his webinars especially were always without doubt inspirational He is just a fantastically great man who gives and gives without expecting anything in return.

Memories at your fingertips “Organise your digital photos like a pro” Andrew you really are 'Uncle Andrew’ to all of us. You’re always there to answer questions, offer guidance and most of all just plain old-fashioned support. Personally, I thought it was amazing that you went through every one of our book pitches and offered feedback in a voice recording – I couldn’t believe I was sitting and listening to you – Andrew Griffiths speaking directly to me about my prospective book! But it goes on… any questions I ’ve had along the way, you’ve been there to help. Thank you Andrew!!! My book certainly would not be in existence if it weren’t for you. Love you long time!!!

The Power of WOW
Andrew Griffiths is truly the most generous man I have ever met. Many of us are unconsciously so self-orientated that the majority of things we do, is actually exchanging rather than unconditional giving. Andrew gives from a generous heart, that is why he is part of a huge positive loop, based on an abundance mindset. We are extremely lucky to have him as our mentor in KPI.

Getting the Right Balance Apart from his genuine all round awesomeness, there is a very memorable moment for me I had made a couple of mistakes in my book, which were picked up after printing. I was SO embarrassed by the mistakes, it made me question everything! I contacted Andrew for advice and direction and he was so generous, supportive and humorous. My new printed book all fixed up - You made me realise it was a little hiccup and I could get back on track.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
“Love & Life: From Paddock to Plate” Andrew Griffiths for me is the real deal. He’s one of the most generous, authentic professionals, who gives so much without hesitation to help so many. His love of writing and his enthusiasm in sharing his expertise to so many is genuinely appreciated by all. I cannot wait to have my book published and look forward to sending him the first hot copy, signed (as he insists) with my sincere best wishes and gratitude for his contribution. He has created a driving passion in me to publish more and more books. I cannot wait to see how it unfolds and how many books I can get on his shelf !! You have been a life changing influence AG and I'm eternally grateful for all you offer and continue to give and deliver.

Honey, let’s buy a BOAT! It's time for me to come clean and fess up, what I'm about to say may not come as a total surprise... but I have a #MAN-CRUSH on Andrew Griffiths! Here's my recollection of our first date: It was 10 March 2012 when MG2 did Publish Day. Sitting in the back of the classroom with about 50 others. I respectfully raised my hand to ask AG a question. It all blurted out, I could not stop myself and proceeded to say, "I ain't writing no f *ng book", to which AG replied "Oh really, why is that?" AG... you had me at "Oh Really". It's now been 2.5 years since that day which has changed my life forever. Two books later, an industry profile that's exploding, regular paid radio spots on 3AW and huge credibility from my industry players which is gained from trying to own my space. With book 3 in the making, OMG AG what have you created?
It all began because AG wanted to understand me, engage me and not simply dismiss me as a smart-arse, which understandably you should have. But to genuinely listen and engage together in conversation that lit the fuse for my writing career, I never saw it coming nor have I looked back. This was my 'ah-ha' moment with the 40 week program. I can still clearly remember the conversation in which I often slo-mo replay in my mind when I get caught up, blocked and feel like I can't move forward. AG is not only the super publishing mentor that everyone loves.... but for me AG is way deeper than that - You are my very close friend. Spending quality time together, enjoying each others company, discussing a host of topics with nothing off limits; personal, family and business. You keep me grounded and always push me forward. You constantly lead by example and are always, always there for me. My friend you pave the way forward for me and many to follow. My life is so much better, because you play a major part of it. AG love you heaps. Take a chance to STOP - smell the roses, read this book many times over and really reflect on the fact that you have make a difference to so many lives by what you do and by who you are. Thank You and God Bless xxx
PS: My hairy audacious goal for 2015 is to get a TV spot (there you go, I've written it down AG for all to see)

Business ownership Bullet Proofed “The 4 keys to successfully protecting your business, family and personal wealth” I was part of MG1. I first met Andrew Griffiths at the initial Brand Accelerator day at the Novotel in St Kilda in late May 2011. He smiled introduced himself and gave me a copy of his book “The Me Myth”. What an introduction! I never thought I ’d write a book, he made sure I did! Andrew has been there for me on more occasions than I can count. He didn’t have to help little old me, he has bigger fish to fry but whenever I needed help he was there! I can’t thank him enough or repay him enough. Because of his help I have been nominated for the Hillross Adviser of the Year award to be decided on his birthday (20 January) in Perth. How’s that for serendipity! Our office has also won a grant from the Victorian government to develop our practice due to the fact that I ’m a published author! None of this could have happened without Andrew’s help. He gives and gives and then gives some more, what an amazingly selfless person! He should be nominated for Australian of the Year! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Andrew! I don’t know how I ’ll ever repay your kindness and the huge positive impact you have had on my life and that of my families!

“How to overcome the misguidance and misinformation Online Andrew is one of the most giving and caring people out there. He redefines mentorship and leadership; always giving from his heart, to help get to the next step. The ingredients of Influence Well Andrew Griffith what can I say? You set a bench mark for me that I would have never dreamed of. I will never forget my first book Launch, in that idyllic spot by the pool at Peppers Beach Club Spa Resort in Palm Cove, champagne was flowing on that balmy night and you presented me as if I were a celebrity!!! It was an event with little preparation, we happened to be on holidays there and I knew you lived in Cairns. I thought of myself as BOLD, emailing you and asking if you would introduce me to my guests... I really never expected you to be number one, available and number two, willing! What overwhelmed me was that you told me that you felt privileged that I asked, and more than that, you accepted to stay for dinner as part of our family and we were fortunate to have had our grandchildren there. Of course being Italian we were loud - You just looked as if you were one of us and than the words that I will never forget: "Would you adopt me?" well I felt the luckiest Nonna in the world! Of course I have never had a book event in a "church hall" as I thought perhaps I needed to, but remembering my first one, they have gone from great to fabulous simply because you showed me the way. Grazie Mille Andrew Arrivederci

WOW Words on the Web
After I heard AG speak at the Brand Accelerator, I knew I was in the right place with the 'world's best book-writing mentor'. Writing a book was the only reason I signed up for KPI and if there's one person you want at your side every step of the way, it's Andrew Griffiths. He is one of the most generous and kind people I have ever met and the world is a better place because of him.
Elizabeth Gillam
Would you like profits with that? The reason Andrew rocks my KPI world is that regardless of his success he always wants to see me and every KPI achieve. Andrew is like my “Book Dad that comes along to all my games and watches from the sideline. He cheers with me when I score a goal and sparks me up when I miss team selection. He watches me play in the rain, in the sun, in the selection trials and in the grand final. He is my writing coach, my writing mentor, my writing cheer squad - he is my writing Dad.

Shoot me now
“Making videos to boost business I've never really had a "mentor". I've had a business coach, I'm blessed with supportive siblings and friends. But I've never had someone who inspires me with what they have achieved and shown me so clearly what is possible. Until I met Andrew. The term mentor is regularly used in the KPI lexicon. I took it with a grain of salt at first, but after only 2 years I've realised that Andrew Griffiths actually is my mentor. Okay he's not just mine. There's too much of him (in spirit) for just one person. In fact Andrew's generosity of spirit is what inspires me, along with his kindness, wisdom, humour, quality of work, commitment to 100% in all things. Okay so there's a few things that inspire me with Andrew. Somehow Andrew has managed to share all this with so many within the KPI community. So many feel he knows us personally and is truly interested in seeing our journey and our success. And why not? He's played a major part in our success. His constant contributions to the Facebook page with his support, his encouragement and his learnings keep him within reach of all of us. For me, Andrew is the heart of the Key Person of Influence. He is the kind uncle, the sage counsel, the funny friend and inspiring mentor. Thanks for being part of my KPI world.

Works at Key Person of Influence Sir Griffiths amazes me a little more each time I interact with him. I see him as our KPI Dumbledore; powerful, good to the core, adored, respected, an amazing mentor, making magic happen and then teaching others how to make magic of their own. I'm sure you hear it all the time, but you have an impact so deep and wide I doubt you can fully grasp it! Never stop doing all those things you do, the little things; they might seem completely run of the mill or like no big deal to you (in your nature), but for the KPI's it has such beautiful meaning and does not go unnoticed or unremembered #AGeffect

Navigating Career Crossroads You are a man who makes dreams come true. Without the twinkle in your eye, that knowing laugh and encouraging words and never ending good humour, I would never have achieved something as important as the publication of my book! The Innovation Recipe
364 days ago I launched my book, The Innovation Recipe, in front of 600 people at the Melbourne KPI Accelerator. James Tuckerman (editor of Anthill Magazine) was in the audience. We had a five minute chat, I gave him a copy of my book, we connected on LinkedIn, and went our separate ways. About 3 months later, I was promoting a P4P event, which I sent out to all my LinkedIn connections, based on the advice of one of my PitchFest judges, Andrew Ford. James received the invite, said he liked topic, and asked me to do a webinar for Anthill Magazine (and James told me tonight that my webinar is one of his most popular course, which blew me away). Last month he invited me to judge the Smart 100 Awards in Sydney at the Museum of Contemporary Art, overlooking the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. It was an incredible night. I've made amazing new connections. I've been offered an ongoing speaking role on a national leadership program. I've been offered a 6 article series writing for a magazine about women as entrepreneurs (which came about because I was the only female judge in the room tonight). All of this started with handing James a copy of my book 364 days ago.

Capture More Customers with Video “The why, what and how I have never met a man as generous with his time, energy, and fun! He genuinely wants to help everyone in the program to succeed and I have not seen that enthusiasm dwindle even after 600+KPI's. Andrew helps everyone to find their inner author and happily helps out when he can. I was privileged to have Andrew write the foreward for my book, and for that I am eternally grateful. Before You Break
So I could sit here and say that, as Melbourne Group 1 - the very first Australian KPI group, and the first group with you at the Publishing Helm, we found you AG. We embraced you, showed you how incredibly cool the KPI world can be and in fact, paved the way for future KPIs to see how cool you are too. I could sit here and say that, but who are we kidding? The truth is you found us. AG you have a unique ability to make everyone feel like they count. Your faith in us seems so genuine... because it is genuine. I ’ve come to discover that there are a lot of imposters in the Entrepreneurial world - people who talk a big game but are hollow underneath. Well AG, your ability to be everything to everyone, to practice what you preach, and to see in us things we don’t even see in ourselves...is phenomenal (and that’s just the humans you have helped... don’t even get me started on the wombats... ). If you work out how to bottle yourself AG, put me down for a pallet. You’re just lucky us MG1s decided to share you with the rest of KPI... All of our lives are broken into 2 halves now - pre-Andrew Griffiths and post!

Chicks and Mortar
There is so much to say about Andrew that one single statement, paragraph or book will in no way encompass the kind, gentle, considerate, compassionate, generous, thoughtful, enjoyable, knowledgable person he is. When I started the KPI process writing a book was the last thing I planned on doing. Actually, I thought I could skip that section all together. That idea was totally wiped from my mind within the first five minutes of the Publish workshop with Andrew. He made me realise that not only could I write a book, but I absolutely had to write a book. It was inside me waiting to come out. Andrew made the whole process exceptionally easy, clear and most of all enjoyable. Since that day I have learnt so much more from Andrew, how to write a book, how to be a speaker, how to be a better person. Andrew is the epitome of a true Key Person of Influence and it is an absolute honour to know him and a pleasure to learn from him.

Raw Beauty
I had the opportunity to give Arianna Huffington my book Raw Beauty when I saw her speak at an event in September. This was not an easy thing to do, but I felt pulled to do it. I also had an extraordinary friend with me, who made me follow through on my initial instinct. My heart pounded as I was in the queue. Once I gave Arianna the book she thanked me and asked me to email her and then she moved my book to the side. After I grabbed this massive opportunity I rushed to my friend and said, “ We have to leave NOW!” I felt sick. I felt sick for 3 days and the voices, oh, the voices were not kind to me. Even my husband said to me “What are you doing to yourself ?”. The main story that I had crafted for myself and the one that kept going around in my head on repeat was that Arianna had left my book on the table, thinking who is this crazy woman. Many hours later when everyone had left and the cleaner was doing the rounds, he would pick up my book and put it in the bin, and then continue on his way as he whistled while he worked. There it was my book, in the bin.
As she had asked me to email her, I did. 2 weeks after I gave her Raw Beauty, I sent a follow up email. A few days’ later there was an email from Arianna herself it was not long, (she is one of the top 10 most powerful women in the world) but she knew me and thanked me, she had also cc’d in her Senior International Editor. Then followed an email from him asking me to be a launch blogger for the Australian site when it launches in 2015 and they want to have me involved in the launch in other ways. But he said, as we have no set date yet for the Australian launch why don’t you write for the US site in the meantime? I have to say that I held onto my kitchen bench and jumped up and down for about five minutes. I felt so bold I then emailed Seth Godin as we connected while he was here, he also responded. Thank you Andrew Griffiths for telling us to be bold and get out there. I now know what I have to offer and I am owning it. I have my really bold pants on!

Mother Om
“Connect with yourself and your child in one mindful moment a day” From the moment I met AG and he gave me a copy of his book “The Me Myth” for Publish day, I knew this man had a beautiful soul. I read the book which I couldn’t put down and it made me laugh and cry and I knew exactly how I wanted my book to be. Written from the heart and so sincere and genuine. For me the purpose of doing the KPI course was to publish a book and leverage my message of keeping families connected. AG has always been there for me, giving sound, honest and expert advice. I listen intently to his webinars and read all his cleverly crafted blogs. He is a true asset to KPI and the kindness and value he shows to every KPI is extraordinary. I feel truly blessed to have such a big hearted mentor who shines a light for authors all over the globe. I would not have published my book Mother Om, which has won an award, without AG.

WOW Words on the Web The things I admire and respect about Mr AG are many, but perhaps the most important are his generosity and willingness to be vulnerable. You can see this best in ‘The Me Myth’. The world needs more mentors with a deprecating sense of humour backed up by a massive work ethic, a love of fun and a deep commitment to contribution. You want to work harder because AG is on your team. Couldn’t have done it with out you Andrew. My deepest gratitude.

He's a bit like a great Gynaecologist; he makes you feel like the only person having a baby, when you know that can't be true. Andrew had faith in me, he had me believe I had a story worth telling. The reason I succeeded and was the first one in MG6 to publish my book is because I wanted to make Andrew proud of me. I have a selfie I took of Andrew and I on the day of Publish and I used that to push me when I got bogged down. Then 22 weeks later the book arrived. Thank you, you're a big SPUNK xx

I really appreciated Andrew’s care and wisdom and consideration during the webinar series. We often got caught up in the detail and I really liked that we had our sights on the broader benefit of the book process and well as a map to get there. Unleash Your Alpha
Unleash Your AlphaI recall sitting at the Brand Accelerator on that first day. I came upon my partner's suggestion, i.e. not of my own discovery... I had just heard Ian Elliot talk and loved it. Then AG came to the stage, did his thing and left. The message was loud and clear - everyone has a book in them. I suppose I just didn't think that I did, nor had I ever considered it. From memory Andrew's talk didn't impact or stand out to me at the time, but upon reflection I realise that this didn't have to do AG at all, it was my own state of mind at that time. I joined up to KPI and I soon found myself sitting in a room where Andrew Griffiths stood at the front presenting in his engaging manner. He said many words that day, but there were some in particular that struck a definitive cord - Not only do I have a book in me, but I MUST write this book! From that moment on (and still to this day) I feel I have a duty to share my information with the world. So the question went from "Who am I to write a book?" to "Who am I not to write this book?!" In fact this was one of the blogs I wrote for release on launch week that resonated so well with my audience and successfully helped me to get my book all the way to number #1 on Amazon for Men's Health! Yes, I did the leg work of writing the thing, but if it weren't for AG's calming and confidence boosting words, it might not have happened at all. For that, not only me from me but from every guy that has read my book and used the information in it - we thank you AG!

Finance Action Hero “Part one basic training“
We are lucky to be in a world today of online resources and great speaking events that mean we can have our eyes opened to the possibilities in our future on a regular basis. Movements like TED have meant we can be inspired by wonderful speakers on fabulous topics as often as we choose to listen. However very few of us ever take action on what we learn. We listen, our hearts swell, our minds are expanded, but that is often where it ends. The way I feel about Andrew could not be more different to that. On Publish Day Andrew opened our eyes to the possibility of writing and publishing a book, inspired us and left us all revved up about our new futures as published authors. And that could have been the end of it. However what he does that only someone with as big a heart as his can, is he believes in us. He honestly believes we CAN write a book, and when someone believes in you that strongly, it becomes hard not to become a believer yourself.
I powered through the 30,000 words in 30 days because Andrew said it was possible, I sucked it up and got through launching my book in May this year because he told us it would change our world. And I am now looking at the manuscript for my second book because I know that if I asked him whether he thought I could and should, he would say 'Hell Yeah!'. I don't know anybody that wouldn't agree that writing a book transforms your life and your business... however I know with absolute certainty that the magic that enabled the transformation to occur was the awesome Uncle Andrew. You rock, you awesome book geek you!!

Money Does Grow On Trees From the day I first heard Andrew speak (or AG as most of us like to call him), I knew there was something special about him. He immediately connected with every person in the room, and certainly with me. He is affectionate, charitable, compassionate, considerate, gentle, friendly….do I need to go on? Of course I do. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet, he is gracious, kindhearted and loving... and he has a great sense of humour that always makes me laugh. He is an inspiration, having achieved all he has in life given his upbringing - not many people would come out with such a positive outlook on life. One of the best things about him? His integrity. Enough said. I have been very fortunate over the last 12 months to work very closely with him in building my brand, helping me put strategies together for my business (in collaboration with other professionals) and helping me forge an amazing path in business life. The best part? He’s happy to extend help and advice on a personal level as well as a result of working with him he has become a great friend and an amazing mentor. There’s one word I haven’t used purposefully and I did in fact want to leave the best till last... He’s AUTHENTIC. Love ya AG!

Birth. Baby. How to rock the lot Andrew Griffiths rocks because he facilitates meaningful change in society by helping others open heartedly. AG helps you make meaningful, timely, shifts. Wild times with the tribe “A guide to the ultimate family safari As a result of my KPI journey however, I have more goals and bigger goals then ever before. These are goals which I wouldn't have thought possible this time last year, but I now feel are within reach. Exciting times indeed! Thanks so much for all you do for all of us Andrew Griffiths!

Don't eat the marshmallow “The fun and easy way to teach your kids about money Andrew Griffiths is a true gentleman and an inspiration to all. Before I met Andrew Griffiths I had not put together 1000 words in total so the thought of having to write 1000 words a day was scary. Andrew broke the challenge down into bite size chunks and provided a wonderful framework to make me feel as though I had a chance. Andrew's webinars were jam packed with value, encouragement and personal messages of support. Thanks to Andrew I self published my book "Don't Eat the Marshmallow - the fun and easy way to teach your kids about money". The book has given me a "thud" factor and helped me share my best thinking with loads of people. I would never have written this without his encouragement and support. Now I ask myself - why stop at one?
