Support Organizations continued Alzheimer Society of B.C. Resource Centre Support for patients and their families who are suffering with dementia issues. There is a Bowen Island caregiver support group as well which meets the last Tuesday of every month from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Cates Hill Chapel. Drop-ins are welcome on Bowen. There is no fee. PALLIATIVE CARE B.C. Palliative Care Benefits Program Assists people of all ages to receive end of life care at home. A physician referral is required for this program. It provides some nursing care, medical supplies / equipment and medications. All patients in this program have the following services available to them:
