ABOUT CLEVER VINTAGE CLOTHING Clever Vintage Clothing launched in 1991 after its owner Dave C. Temple spent a lifetime inspired by vintage apparel and collected a garage full of great finds from across the United States. Temple eventually set up a showroom in downtown Los Angeles where customers of all kinds — designers, stylists, buyers, store owners, and vintage clothing collectors and enthusiasts — could find the vintage clothing they either personally wanted or needed for their business practices at a fair price with less hassle. It was a clever endeavor that has grown for over a decade and remains in its original downtown Los Angeles location.
