Wedding Ceremony Customs‌ Selecting the right custom for your ceremony
Your wedding day will be filled with many significant moments, the ceremony is the pinnacle of the entire celebration. It's the reason all of your family and friends have gathered together, and it's more than just a formality. Whether you're having a religious or civil service, your ceremony is your chance to express who you are as a couple; you can design your readings, add rituals that have significance for you, or even infuse your love story throughout the service. ! We have listed a few wedding customs that you may not have heard of and a few with a twist which will definitely fit in at an informal style wedding. The one thing to remember this part of the day - your ceremony, is about you both and if you are a pair of kookie love birds then a fully traditional ceremony will not be for you. Have some fun you may come up with your very own custom. ! Here, officiants share some of the most creative touches their couples have been adding to their ceremonies lately.!
Water Ceremony - This is a Thai Buddhist wedding blessing (but you can add your own twist to it).
The bride and groom kneel side by side and give their guests the opportunity to bestow their blessings. Each guest gently pours water over the hands of the bride and groom. The water passes through the hands of the couple into a beautiful flower filled large bowl. This custom is as serene and creates a very peaceful feeling.!
Family Mementos - Family heirlooms and traditions have always played a big part at ceremonies.
One couple had a family Bible which had been used at all weddings since 1870. Each wedding couple signed and dated the Bible in the front cover as a mark in history. Don't worry if you don’t have a 150 year old family Bible start your own tradition and be the first to sign in your family Bible.!
Reverse Unity Candle - Instead of a traditional unity candle ceremony where each family lights a candle and the bride and groom light a larger candle together. The reverse unity candle ceremony starts with one flame and shares it with all your guests. Each guest is handed an unlit candle at the beginning of the ceremony when the couple move amongst the guest everyone becomes part of the unity of love being shared. This looks amazing if your wedding is later in the day or a darker Page location. Just think it would be a great thing to add to !7 your ceremony if it has been moved inside due to bad weather.
Eternity Flowers - I love this one so much.
A large urn of flowers is placed at the ceremony. The person performing the ceremony speaks about ever lasting love and eternity. Guests are invited to come and select a single fresh flower and place it around the feet of the bride and groom in the shape of two conjoined circles, making an eternity symbol. The ritual is done at the beginning so the bride and groom are then standing in the eternity symbol for the rest of the ceremony. !
Love Letters - we rarely get mail these days so how nice would it be to receive lovely hand written letters from your guests from all over the world. These can be read out at your ceremony and you an add the beautiful postmarked letters to your keepsake box for the years to come.

COMING TO A PARK NEAR YOU! As funny as the movie was, Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson battled it out over their wedding plans. The reality for Sunshine Coast brides it may start to go the same way. The Sunshine Coast is one of the country s most sort after wedding destination and with marriage records reflecting that almost 10% of all weddings in Australia are taking place here on the Sunshine Coast - the battle for the best ceremony locations begins.
! My advice to you is simple - book early! Chat with your wedding planner or stylist, spend a couple of weekends checking out all of the amazingly different ceremony locations throughout the Sunshine Coast and narrow down your list. You will then need to contact the local council and book your permit. I know many people think it s just a park and do I really need a permit but just think how awkward would it be for your guests to arrive for your ceremony only to find another wedding already happening! Not the phone call any bride wants on her wedding day.
! Let the battles begin!

Our Story: Matt and I were engaged one year prior to our wedding in Paris on our first overseas trip. We knew from that day that we wanted to get married as soon as possible and that we wanted our wedding to be the most fun and romantic day of our life and the day absolutely was. Our wedding also happened to be Caitlyn's parents 27th wedding anniversary so it was a very lucky day for everyone. It was filled with all of our favourite people in the world and we couldn't have asked for more perfect day including the fact that it was predicted to rain that weekend but it held off for our wedding. Our wedding had a vintage theme along with a hint of glamour and a touch of pastel disney colours in the girls dresses and flowers.

The idea of giving your guest a little moment of your wedding day has been going on for centuries.. They can be called bomboniere(the word no one is sure how to pronounce), favours or thank you gifts. Most countries have their own take on this very old tradition. In recent years brides have been getting very personal with the gifts for their guests, spending hours of time preparing them and working out how to display them. The humble thank you gift now stands out proudly as one of the main decorative features at your wedding. We have found just a few of the ones we love the most.
!
Our advice is make sure you select something that you can do well in advance, staying up until midnight on the eve of your wedding finishing off your gifts will not be the best idea. Leave plenty of time to get them done, buy a few extra of everything incase there needs to be a few test runs and once they are completed box them up well with full instructions for someone else to set up on your big day‌.

I didn’t get one at my wedding and it was my one regret. Sunshine Coast Videography is taking wedding video footage to new heights. The amazing footage is being taken by “drone cameras” it’s not just spies and James Bond types using this new footage. The drones fly high above your wedding giving you a real majestic feeling. Let Me Entertain You... Most wedding receptions are filled with music and dancing as loved ones celebrate their happiness for the bridal couple.
!
Many wedding couples include the more traditional dances that honour special loved ones and encourage the guests to get out on the dance floor.
!
Traditional Order of Wedding Dances For each dance, couples need to choose a meaningful song and provide the playlist to the DJ or Band in advance. There would be nothing worse than on the night if your entertainment could not play your wedding song for your first dance. In some cases, if the song you have selected is very unusual you may need to provide a copy of the music. So that guests do not grow bored, limit each song to two minutes. Also, there are no hard and fast rules for anyone to have to dance, so it is important that you are sensitive to the feelings of your relatives who are uncomfortable in the limelight. • Bride and Groom • Parents • Wedding Party • Guests
!
First Dance Dating back the era of Victorian balls, wedding etiquette suggests that the bride and groom should dance first. As hosts of the event, it is their responsibility to kick off the festivities. As times are changing many couples head directly to the dance floor after making their grand entrance into the venue (especially if they have something extra special planned… you know what I mean you’ve seen the youtube videos), your MC or DJ announces you into the room for the first time as husband and wife. Some bridal couples choose to break up the dinner hour by entertaining the guests between courses while others wait until the meal concludes. Just like centuries ago, the first dance between the bride and groom is one of the most anticipated moments of the event, both by the guests and the newlyweds.
The first dance is one of those wedding traditions that is embraced by almost 90% of couples still today. The more formal style of first dance lets say the waltz is being quickly replaced by sexy salsas and funky routines. Wedding dance classes, are a great way to build confidence in your dancing skills. Still, many couples opt for a simple, swaying slow dance as they get a few blissful minutes alone in each other's arms.
Page 3! 2
Parent Dances There are a number of parent dances that can be incorporated in your wedding day. Traditionally, the bride and groom continue to dance and are joined by both sets of parents. Throughout this song the bride and groom dance with each of their parents and the parents of each family dance with each other, it is a real symbol of the joining of the two families. Also many brides like to include a father daughter dance and likewise their can be a mother son dance for the groom and his mum. With the ever-changing face of families, a bride might also invite a grandfather, step-father, uncle or fatherin-law to join her. If she wants to dance with more than one person, it is best to have the next person cut in, although two separate dances are acceptable. Parents and grandparents on both sides of the family should be invited to the dance floor next. This is also the perfect time for the groom to share a few moments with his new mother-in-law.
!
Wedding Party Dances Typically the next round of dances are reserved for the wedding party, including the ushers, flower girl and ring bearer. The groomsmen should pair up with the bridesmaids while the best man dances with the bride and the maid of honour dances with the groom. Many couples opt for upbeat group dances about halfway through the song or as soon as it is over, have the DJ invite the rest of the guests to join the festivities.
!
Just for Fun Although not entirely traditional, a number of dances appear frequently at wedding receptions. The anniversary dance asks all married couples to get on the dance floor, and then the DJ asks those who have been married less than a certain period of time to sit down. The couple who remains dancing the longest offers marriage advice to the newlyweds. Like in the wedding movie “27 Dresses” a number of dance songs just seem to show up at weddings including things like “Nut Bush”, “Chicken Dance”, “Thriller” and “The Macarana”. You will either love them or hate them, just make sure your DJ knows which ones to play or not to play.
Cultural Dances There are many cultures that embrace the “money dance” these include Polish, Ukrainian, Yugoslavian, Hungarian, Portuguese, Mexican and Filipino. The Money Dance is an important part of these cultures and gives every guest the opportunity to privately congratulate the bride and groom. The dance usually takes place toward the end of the event, after cutting the cake and tossing the bouquet but before the guests begin to leave. Many couples save it for their last dance, right before they head out for their honeymoon. There are a couple of variations of the money dance and they are called the veil dance and the apron dance. Other cultural dances often occur throughout the reception, such as the Chinese Lion Dance, Scottish Circassian Circle, the Greek Kalamantiano and Zorba the Greek Dance. These can involve all the guests or hired performers.
!Last Dance
Close the night with a fun, festive song for the last dance. It's often the youngsters -- and young-at-heart -- who remain on the dance floor at the end of a wedding, so choose something upbeat to let the evening end with a burst of energy. Your DJ will have plenty of suggestions, however, if you want one more slow dance with your honey, you can also ask the DJ to play the ballad that didn't quite make the cut Page for !33 your first dance.

Amazing Styling Ideas Page !66
Wedding styling trends come and go but the latest trend has me so excited !
!
We understand completely that not every wedding has a massive budget for styling and flowers but the ! latest trend of hanging flowers really has something for everyone. Our feature image is spectacular ! and as much as we would all love our wedding to be designed by Colin Cowie or Karen Tran ! it is just not going to fit everyone’s budget.!
!
The idea of hanging flowers may seem like something for people with really big budgets but we have ! a few examples of how you can have your own version of hanging flowers to make ! a big impact on your wedding day.
Big is Beautiful… Ok so yes this one is for those of you that just love flowers and it definitely makes a fantastic focal point for a marquee reception. Just keep in mind that you need a structure to be able to hang this. Check with your hire company that it will support it. You will be surprised how heavy this will be.
No Where to Hang? If you love the idea of hanging flowers but your venue does not have a ceiling that can have things suspended. These table stands will give you the illusion of hanging flowers and greenery without any fuss. By placing a few of them along a table you can create a really lush look.

Bridal Table Feature If you love the idea of hanging flowers but want to keep it simple, then just have a large arrangement featured over your bridal table with hanging candles. It will look amazing and frame the bridal table for your photos.
Macrame Clever‌ If you are a crafty DIY bride than making some macrame hanging pots (not sure ask your mum) is a great idea. You can buy potted plants or plant your own seasonal blooms to hang in your reception. This is a great option if your reception is in a barn or hall where you have lots of exposed beams. By using potted plants you are not trying to arrange them on the day of your wedding.
Little Budget Beauties If your budget is tight but you really want some hanging flowers put them into decorative mini bird cages and just place them in one area. By putting them in one place it will have more of a visual impact. I would look at putting them over your gift / guest book table or above your cake table. Finish the look by adding a matching bird cage on the table as well.

When is a dress not just a dress?
The first thing you should do before actually heading to the bridal shop is get an idea about which style of wedding gown you prefer. You will need to get familiar with wedding gown terminology and styles. Here are some general guidelines to help you get started on the road to wedding day bliss.!
! ! ! ! !
A-line! The A-line or princess dress has no marked waist and the vertical seams flow from the shoulders down to a flared skirt, creating an "A" shape. If you carry your weight in the middle, this silhouette is a nice choice.!
! ! ! ! ! !
Ball gown! These gowns are normally quite formal, reminding you of Cinderella. The bodice is fitted with a very full skirt. Ball gowns can be long-sleeved, sleeveless or anywhere in between. The full skirt of a ball gown can hide large hips and thighs.!

Page !73
! !
Empire! Empire gowns have a raised waistline that starts right under ! the bust, flowing to a skirt that skims over the hips then flairs ! slightly to the floor. This romantic silhouette is flattering to ! most body types and is particularly flattering to ! small-breasted women.!
!
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Mermaid! As the name indicates, the mermaid dress is contoured ! against the body then the gown flows out beginning ! around the knees. This is the sexiest of the styles. ! If you're confident in your body, a mermaid dress ! can show off your curves.!
Sheath! The sheath or column dress has a slim shape that follows ! close to the line of the body. The straight design doesn't ! allow for many body flaws. The long lines of a sheath ! gown can elongate the look of your body. Therefore this ! type of dress can work well for short brides.!

Lights, Camera, Action! Are you having a hard time working out the best options for your wedding photography. We have pick the 8 most asked questions to help you along your way
1. Do I need a wedding photographer?" This is totally up to you. Your wedding photos are memories forever. Friends and family will take photos – of course – but usually they produce snapshots and fun candid shots. When There are many ways to find your photographer. Word of mouth? Internet recommendations? Instagram / Pinterest? A wedding expo? Once you start to narrow down your list… you should love the look of his work. Don’t settle for a photographer who may be a cheaper option if you don’t like his or her style. Like all creative people photographers all have their own style. Asking one photographer to take photos like someone else is like asking Leonardo de Vinci to paint like Picasso. The famous painting of Mona Lisa may not have looked quite the same. As much as the image created by Picasso is beautiful it is just very different style from Leonardo’s original. So by asking a photographer to shoot your wedding using someone else's style may not achieve the look you are after for your wedding photos."
Page !93
you want quality
Judge the creativity and quality of the pictures. Make sure you look at a full wedding coverage as well. Don’t waste your time with the wedding photographer when you only like a few shots … you need to love his work. Don’t even look or discuss the package price when you are not 100% convinced." When you work with bigger photography studios ask explicitly for samples of the person who will shoot your wedding. Every photographer has its own style"
"
3. Availability – Book your wedding in advance!" A wedding usually happens on Friday, Saturday or Sunday … a photographer can only attend one wedding a day. Usually you start the wedding planning with booking your reception venue – good idea. The second thing on your list should be the photographer. How frustrating would it be when you find a great wedding photographer which matches your style and price and he/she is booked out. Even when you are last minute … just give your photographer a call – you never know … you might be lucky."
"
4. Meet the wedding photographer!" You found your photographer and he has availability. What to do next?" Before you book the photographer you should meet them. You will be able to find out how your photographer works. Wedding photography is something very personal. You learn more about them when you meet them face to face. Make sure you relate to the photographer. Their personality is very important. You need to be relaxed in front of the camera. This is much easier when you relate to your photographer and they make you feel comfortable. In a meeting you can discuss all the details of the package and negotiate. Hire only a photographer you like … it’s that simple! "
"
5. Don’t limit the time …" There are lots of photographers out there who have limited time packages. Of course it is expensive to hire somebody for the whole duration of your wedding. So some people will be happy with a few creative and fun pictures after the ceremony and the formal shots. Some will like to have the whole day documented. Most of the time people restrict the time because of their budget. Save on prints – save on the album – but don’t restrict the time – you will love a whole documented day!"
"
6. Higher Price = Higher Quality?" There are huge differences in wedding photography prices! How much are your pictures worth? You might find an amateur or start up photographer for a very cheap price but you could also pay top dollars for your wedding. A student or amateur will be cheaper – usually you can’t see a lot of portfolio work and it might be a little gamble."
" "
Page !94
Photography equipment is expensive. Your photographer will easily carry around $15,000 worth of camera equipment. Equipment is important. This helps the wedding photographer to achieve quality photos. But don’t forget creativity is the most important asset of a wedding photographer. " Make sure you know what you get. Some photographers are a little bit cheeky about their pricing structures. They include the photography but then you will have to fork out more money to get the actual pictures (printed or digital). Make sure you understand exactly what you get! Read the contract very careful and ask questions. " Some examples:" " " " " " "
" "
•" •" •" •" •" •"
Will you personally take the photos?" How many prints and albums are included?" Which photo lab are you using?" Do I get high resolution pictures? Please define high resolution." How long will you take photos?" How long does it take to get the pictures? - this is really important one you don't want to be waiting 6 months for your photos."
7. Albums or HighRes pictures?" Quality prints are expensive and cost a lot of money. Professional albums require design time and are very often handmade. These prints are far higher quality than the prints you will get from Officeworks or BigW. But a lot of people will be happy with the quality a consumer lab provides." How you get your pictures is a personal choice, just like selecting the photographer in the beginning. For some people having a beautifully designed album and large prints to display is a big priority for them. Where as others really want them in a digital format so they can show off their wedding pictures on an iPad. Send them to family and friends via email or publish them on Facebook?" Of course the photographer will love to sell you these beautiful prints and albums as well. But just remember they really love what they do and by creating the wedding album they get to explore their creativity and produce something that they know you will keep forever."
Page 9! 5
Some photographers will not give you the digital files. And they have some reasons for it: They want to make sure that their work is always displayed in the best possible way. Their name is related to these pictures. Computer software gets cheaper and cheaper. In the times of Facebook and Instagram you are able to change anything you want – fancy filters and resolution changes – not always to the benefit of the photos. Imagine the image of the Mona Lisa enhanced because she didn’t like the look of her face or the lighting in the picture…all the things that make this image beautiful. For the photographers they would hate to see their pictures treated like that and they might even lose out on future customers when their pictures appear somewhere on the internet. Your wedding images are their reputation. For that reason some photographers will not give you any digital pictures – so please understand this."
" " 8. Why should I get an engagement shoot?" You met your photographer. Great! So why not go on shoot with him before the wedding? For most people a wedding is the first time they get professional photos. So why not have a little practise run? You will learn how to work with your photographer in front of the camera. You will be far more relaxed on the wedding day when you know how the photographer will do the wedding shoot with you." " Now you are equipped with some knowledge of how to select a wedding photographer. We hope this little article gives you a few ideas what to look for.

Secret Men’s Business

We know your wedding day is the most import day in any brides life… but give a few minutes to think about the groom. Generally they will be happy to go along with the bride’s choices with regards to flowers, colours, location of the wedding and pretty much all other wedding related choices. Why not create an area within your reception that is just for “the boys” I promise you the groom will love you a little more for doing this for him.!
"
You can create a Whisky & Cigar Bar or a Gentlemen’s Lounge - just somewhere they can have to themselves. By just adding a few props you can transform a small area of your wedding reception. Just think of all the extra amazing wedding photos!

We know boys like to have a “drink or two at weddings and this will help them as the hours pass.

Our Story‌Dave and I met at a friends New Years Eve party 6 years ago.
We both had grown up on the coast but had left (me travelling Canada & America and Dave in the military) for several years.. The night we met it just felt like we were supposed to know each other, like we had known each other for years‌We moved to Perth a few years later but The Sunshine Coast was still home so the wedding could not be anywhere else. Friends flew in from Perth and Canada to be there, the day was amazing and unforgettable and standing beside us was the 2 friends who's New Years Eve party it was 6 years earlier when we met!

Finding Your Floral Fantasy
Page 1! 35
Flowers are one of nature’s greatest gifts and can be such an extraordinary way to convey and express many different emotions. Whether you choose bright pops of colour or whimsical shades of white, the flowers for your wedding day should represent love, life and celebration. They should be an extension of your wedding decor and styling. Your floral combination should compliment your wedding gown, the overall theme of the day and most importantly, you!
"
But how do you choose the perfect floral design? There are many things that need to be taken into consideration when choosing the flowers for your big day. A lot of decisions have to be made prior to designing your floral concept. Your bouquet is one of your accessories and it has to have the perfect balance of being a statement while complimenting and not overpowering your wedding gown. The colour, texture and detail of your floral accessory needs to coheres with the style of both the bride’s and bridesmaids’ dresses. To ensure that you achieve this balance, talk to your florist about your chosen selection.
"
Just like everything else in your wedding, you should know how much money you and your partner want to spend. Choosing flowers that are in season is an easy way of saving money. This ensures that you can get the best price on all of your floral needs. No matter what time of year your wedding is, find out how you can take advantage of the flowers that are in season for your wedding day.
"
Floral arrangements, either flamboyant or shear simplicity can add to and compliment your styling and decor at both the ceremony and the reception. Whether it’s a romantic petal aisle way, a statement floral arch or large vases of flowers framing your ceremony location, flowers are a great way of adding more nature to an outdoor wedding here on the Sunshine Coast. Floral centrepieces at your reception are a fantastic chance to really show your personality. Whether it’s the structured or just picked look that takes your floral fancy, with flowers there is something for everyone. And even though your bouquet may not last forever, the image created will reflect the enduring love that you and your partner share.

Now Oscar was not going to be left at home (or out done by the kids) so he performed beautifully ! on the day announcing his humans were getting married!

The weather may not have been on their side but the clouds parted for some amazing photos around Caloundra. Close family and friends then attended a reception at the Rumba Room, where Kendall, Adam and their guests flexed their dance skills to the sounds of Velvet Kiss, indulged in a Krispy Kreme doughnut tower and candy bar, laughed and posed with a Polaroid photo booth, and enjoyed a delicious cake made by sister-in-law Kate.

Awesome Hens Night Games The games you choose for your hens night will make or break your par ty. This is the time to let your hair down with the girls, and play some awesome games that will have
The Newlywed’s Game This is a game to test just how well the bride knows her would-be husband. Before the hens night, ask the groom a bunch of questions (How does he take his coffee? What is his dream holiday destination? Etc…) And then ask the bride the very same questions. For every question she gets wrong, she has to down a shot or perform a dare.
The Post it Note Game All you need to create the most memorable hens night game are post-it notes! Every hen at the par ty has to write down a cherished memory they have of the bride. The bride then reads these aloud and guesses which hen penned which memory. The post-its can be kept by the bride forever.
Truth or Dare This hens night version of truth or dare is set to challenge and embarrass the bride on her last night of freedom. Before going out, write down a list of naughty truth and dares that she has to complete during the evening. Think pinching a stranger’s bum, or getting a guy’s phone number.
Bridal Pictionary Think Pictionary with a wedding theme and heaps more alcohol, and you will have Bridal Pictionary. Split yourself into two teams, and try to guess what your team mate is drawing. And of course, everything should have a bridal theme, so think of items like the wedding bouquet, bridesmaids, the honeymoon suite, and the mother of the bride.

Destination Honeymoon
A Groom’s Guide to Planning Page !148
! When you made the decision to get married you may have had no idea there was so much work involved. You’ve had to interview bands and photographers, look for a reception venue and worry about seating arrangements and impressing your new in-laws.
!
And now you’ve discovered that it’s the groom’s job to plan the honeymoon!
! What should you do now? Firstly, try not to look too excited that you have something to do that will inevitably take you away from helping your bride look at flowers or chair covers. But also don’t underestimate the amount of planning that goes into a honeymoon. You’ve got your work cut out for you! While some couples will plan the honeymoon together, it’s still very traditional for the groom to be in charge of the honeymoon plans. In fact some grooms still like to keep the honeymoon location a secret until you and your new bride arrive at the airport. And not that you need any help at all of course, but if you were looking for someone to maybe make some suggestions, here is what we would recommend.
!
Start planning early. The best resorts can fill up a year in advance. Don’t hold out for a last minute deal that may never come. Book your honeymoon at least six to nine months in advance. Think about your shared interests. Do you like to golf or snorkel together? Do you share a hobby, like wine or photography? Why not add some of these elements to your honeymoon to make it even more memorable? Food is an often overlooked element of the honeymoon. There is nothing worse than being in a resort that offers nothing that you enjoy eating. Make sure your resort has plenty of dining options, and that you can request menus in advance so that you can be sure that great place on the beach is really what you’re looking for. Throw in something unexpected, like a candlelit dinner on the beach or a cooking class. It’s the little things that will get you brownie points for years to come. There is a lot of great information online, but a certified travel professional can make all the difference, and help you avoid some of the common planning pitfalls. Ask some of your recently married friends for recommendations as well. Get a passport! You can’t leave the country without it. Passports cost less than $100.00 and are good for 10 years. Remember to apply for your passport 3 to 4 months before departure.
No matter what happens, travel always gives you a story to tell. Enjoy the trip!

“ Trash the Dress ” The idea of trashing your dress frightens most brides to the core…here is the dress that has taken months to select, you’ve attended so many dress fittings to make sure it fits like a glove, you’ve been storing it and transporting it as if it was as fragile as fine china and now your photographer is asking you to trash it!!
!
Once you get past the initial shock you will generally love the results. Trash the dress these days does not mean getting out the fluro paint and throwing it at each other. The idea of spending another day in your stunning gown with your new Husband with no pressure is really appealing. Just think you can relax and really have some fun. The pressure of your wedding day has passed and you can add in some quirky things that reflect the two of you. Whether it’s red cowboy boots, a ride on your husband’s Harley or just a frolic in the sea - the day will be about the two of you.!
!
Our lovely couple featured - Stephanie & Luke had an amazing wedding day and their wedding photos are all beautiful, images they will treasure forever. They decided to have a “Trash the Dress Day” and the results are breath taking. Every couple should have amazing intimate images of themselves, even if they don't share them with any family or friends it is something that they can have just for the two of them.!
!
I would love to think that on their 50th wedding anniversary they would pull out these images to remind themselves of the amazing amount of love and passion they have for each other.

Like with every part of planning your wedding day there are so many things to take into consideration when booking your wedding suppliers and booking your wedding day transport is no different. Here are a few helpful tips to make sure that you are not left hitch hiking on your wedding day.
!
Wedding Day Timeline - work out from where to where and all the places along the way you want to stop.
!
Budget - Think about how many you have in your bridal party and how many vehicles will be needed to get everyone around. Generally couples think mainly about getting the bride & maids to the ceremony but if you are going to a different location for photographs with your photographer the transport will need to accommodate the entire bridal party.
!
The Fine Print - check your contract with your supplier and make sure you have a full cost listed. Understand that if you go over the time you have allocated their will be extra charges - find out what these are upfront. Most of all pay your deposit - there would be nothing worse than somebody else getting your booking because you forgot to pay the deposit. Remember its not confirmed until deposit is paid.
!
Be Creative But Stay Practical - really think about your needs and if you want something a little less traditional make sure that it will work with your venue. There is no point booking a horse drawn carriage if the venue has no access for it to get through to the ceremony location. Or booking convertible cars if you are worried about your hair and wedding veil on the day.
!
Go The Extra Mile - if you have a lot of out of town guests or your reception venue has very little parking then arranging a bus transfer service for your guests is really thoughtful.

Guide to wedding ! invites
s l l e W Wishing !
Wishing wells have become a common occurrence for many modern weddings throughout Australia. Over 70% of Australian weddings now feature a wishing well or similar form of gift registry that allows guests to give a cash gift. However, while the incidence of people using wishing wells has no doubt increased, it still takes careful etiquette to ensure your gift request is well received. A simple guide to wishing well etiquette Let them know Asking for cash would seem to be rude (but many guest are finding the option of a wishing well a relief as the age old question of “what to by them?” is harder to fulfil). So there are many creative ways around letting them know you are having a wishing well. Here are some common ways to inform guests of your wishing well request while staying within the bounds of good etiquette:
!
- Allow close friends and family to spread the word
!
- Wedding websites are great for informing guests - Make sure you choose a wishing well poem that presents the situation as a request and not an order to avoid offending guests
!!
Lastly, you could include a wishing well poem as part of your wedding invitation
Let Guests Know Your Intentions By letting your guests know what you intend to use the funds for always helps…this way, guests will feel like they are contributing to something important rather than giving you a colder cash or monetary gift.
For example, you may choose to dedicate the gift money to a deposit on a house, the honeymoon or even for home items, such as new furniture or renovations.

Like with any wedding gifts, sending thank you cards for your wishing well gift is not only good etiquette, it's also a great way to show guests your sincere thanks. There are no defined rules about whether people should include a card, a signed envelope or whether it is acceptable to give money anonymously, so be flexible with your requirements. If you at least provide pens and envelopes it will avoid any potentially embarrassing misunderstandings when writing your thank you notes.

Wedding Cake Inspiration Wedding cakes have been apart of weddings since medieval England, back then small spiced buns were stacked in a towering pile, as high as possible. If the bride and groom were able to kiss over the tall stack, it was then said they would have a lifetime of prosperity. Later in history the earliest recored recipe for a wedding was a Bride’s Pye by Robert May in 1685 “The Accomplished Cook”. This was a large round pie with an elaborately decorated crust it’s filling consisted of oysters, pine kernels, cockscombs, lamb stones, sweetbreads and spices.
!
Aren’t you glad the wedding cakes have evolved into the loveliness that they are today! Modern wedding cakes have evolved so much even in the last 50 years, gone are the days of the old traditional fruit cake with the marzipan icing. Today’s wedding cakes are light and sweet and are often used as part of the dessert at wedding receptions. Enjoy some of our favourites!

Bridesmaid Love Can’t say “I Do” without you
Asking your nearest and dearest to be your bridesmaids should be treated just like any other wedding related decision; with a lot of thought and creativity. The people that make up your bridal party will play an integral role in helping and supporting you in both the lead up to your wedding and on the day. So who should your bridesmaids be? For some this may be one of the easiest wedding related decisions, however for others it can be a difficult choice. Your bridal party should be made up of friendships that you know will never fade. Once the decision has been made is where the fun begins; how to ask them! This can really set the tone and will get them even more excited for your big day. It’s best if at this stage you have a bit of an idea as to the ideal where and when of your big day, so they can be sure of their availability. It’s time to get creative, you could decide to ask them all in unique and personal ways depending on the kind of relationship and history you have. However you decide to pop the question, do so in a thoughtful and loving way, whether it be a cute card or care package full of love and meaningful items. So just like your partner would have put a lot of thought into how he would propose to you, you should also consider how you ask your nearest and dearest to play a huge role in one of the most memorable days in your life. Because let’s face it, there are endless ways to say “You’ll wear it again, I promise”.

Prop Hire Styling your wedding is where the fun begins‌ Take some time to really think about the style you are going for and the overall look. Your reception venue may include some decorations for your wedding so try to work with what you already have included this wil save you some money so that you can splurge on a couple of bigger items to enhance your style.
!
When selecting props remember to check how big each item is and if you have a vehicle that is big enough to transport it to your ceremony or reception. No point hiring a stunning vintage sideboard if you need your mum to pick it up in her little Holden Barina.
!
Check with your hire company many of them offer a delivery service.

“Our wedding day, without sounding too cliché was the most perfect day of our lives. One that ourselves and our guests are still remembering fondly and comment on”.
Page !177
Planning Our Wedding… Our wedding journey started like most couple’s with multiple expos, a stack of magazines and uncountable hours spent online researching. I wasn’t quite sure what exactly it was that I wanted but I had a rather good idea of what I didn’t want. One of the first things we chose was the date, this was partially due to at every stand at any wedding expo you had to put in your wedding date. October, a rather popular time of year we were soon to find.
!
Next came the venue, which we had started to look for just over a year out. This was what I found most stressful! We are situated in Ipswich. Our search lead up as east as Stradbroke Island, as west as Toowoomba, and south as the Gold Coast and as north as the Sunshine Coast.
!
We had looked at so many venues that my husband, Adam and I became a little disheartened. Too small, too big, too noisy, too expensive or not available. We liked the idea of the Sunshine Coast as it already held a lot of memories for both of us with both of our families holidaying there. The one thing we really wanted was to be able to have our ceremony and reception at one venue. I wanted our guests to relax and not have to worry about moving on to location B. We started to think we might have to push back the wedding. So in a last ditch attempt and for a different perspective we invited my mum (who was over the moon) to come up the coast with us to look at more venues. We were unsuccessful once again! That was until we tried a random hotel we were driving past on the way home. Mum wasn't ready to give up and ran inside to enquire. Of course their function room was too small but they kindly recommended a few other places. One of which was Pelican Waters Golf Club, as soon as we walked in we knew this was the perfect venue! Although we didn’t have an appointment and they were extremely busy with an event, one of the bar staff gave us a quick look through and left us to have a little wander. They were so accommodating right from the get go. It left us with such a great impression, and we were so happy to continue on with the rest of our wedding plans. Pelican Waters Golf Club was the place for our reception.
Page !178
As part of our package with Pelican Waters Golf Club included styling/decorating by Cloud Nine Weddings. The ladies at Cloud Nine were very helpful in coming up with a theme.
!
They were so patient! As I said, I wasn’t exactly sure what it was that I wanted, but I knew I would know when I saw it. We amended a few of the package items and paid a little extra for a few extra little touches, but after looking through a few albums I still hadn’t found exactly the right centre piece.
!
Then Julie had an idea and started rearranging the shop and set up a table, and that was it. We had a double stacked fish bowl. The bottom bowl with the same flowers in our bouquet and the top bowl with crystal scatters and a large candle. This was all placed on top of a circular mirror with tea light candles and more of the crystal scatters. Perfect! It was elegant but not over the top.
!
My dress didn’t take me long to find. It was the 5th dress I had tried on in a total of 3 stores. It was just stunning and made marrying my best friend that much more special. But it was totally different to what I had in mind, I actually tried it on as more of a joke.
!
I was with my best friend and I had said to her it was beautiful but it definitely wasn’t me, so as a laugh I put it on, we were both silent. It was the one! You do just know! My friend couldn’t stop talking about it the whole way home it was so special. I brought the dress from Hills in Hollywood the ladies there were just so professional and lovely, the store was gorgeous.
!
We also purchased the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen ties from Hills in Hollywood from the Indooroopilly store. The staff were just as lovely but the store wasn’t as extravagant.
Page 1! 79
My mum found our cake decorator Elisabeth’s Cakes from the Sunshine Coast. She was just brilliant and so talented. She really wanted to make the cake our own and she did such a wonderful job!
!
It was just beautiful 3 tier wedding cake, 2 x dark mud cake with Nutella butter cream filling and 1 x cream cheese madeira with vanilla butter cream filling. Everybody raved about it. The middle tier was hand piped like the lace on the bodice of my dress and the bit of bling was evident too. She also made us gluten free cupcakes for our coeliac guests. They were very impressed.
!
Our DJ was wonderful - DJ Jerry Brown. He created the most perfect atmosphere. Everything we wanted. Everyone was up a dancing, having a great time and apart from the few songs we had locked in for the first dance, throwing the bouquet and garter toss, we left the rest up to him. It really was for all ages and everyone had such a memorable time.
!
On the big day we started with our make up being done by a friend Caroline (Cara) Campbell who is a Napoleon Perdis make-up artist and our hair was styled by the lovely ladies at Cameo Rose Hair Boutique. I chose these ladies for hair/make-up as both had done a wonderful job at one of my closest friend’s wedding in Brisbane and was impressed once again at the beautiful job with myself and the bridesmaids.
!
The stunning flowers were from Caloundra Florist, who created lovely bouquets and button holes. They worked in with Cloud Nine Weddings to ensure that the flowers would be very similar to the centre pieces and it all tied in beautifully!
!
Our photographer Stewart Ross Photography. He did a wonderful job at catching our memories. His style is a little different to your average photographer. You look through his albums and you feel like you were at the weddings he shoots. It's all very natural and as the day progresses, not too much direction, which made for some laughs and beautiful photos as a result. I don’t think I ever remember laughing so much as I did on my wedding day! Pure joy.
!
We were then taken to the Golf Club in a super stretch Ford Territory hired through Golden Gates Limousines. Our driver was absolutely brilliant! So kind and looked after us so well and drove us around very professionally. The car was immaculate!
!
Our celebrant was the gorgeous Dee Hamson. She was just so lovely, she told our story and kept it short sweet and simple. Dee took the time to get to know us and she really created a lovely ceremony.
Page !180
Right from when we arrived at the Golf Club on the big day Michelle (events coordinator) and Jodie (point of contact on the day) were just so comforting, they really are just so fantastic at what they do. We hopped out of the limo and into the golf carts to be escorted over to the ceremony. We walked across the bridge over the beautiful lake full of Lily pads, onto the beautiful manicured green grass and down the aisle.
!
Now the weather that day was lovely, it had looked like a bit of a worry in the morning as the rain clouds loomed but the wind picked up and blew them away. Only problem was the wind stayed, so as I reached the grass I was no longer sheltered by the trees and the wind hit me like a tonne of bricks, I was no longer gracefully walking like I was across the bridge and my dad and I both struggled not to stand on my dress as it was being blown under our feet. It got to the point where both feet were on my dress and I could no longer walk. I whispered to my dad that I couldn’t move and laughed when I realised there was only one thing left to do. So I hiked my dress up and said now its Angie and we continued on. Everyone erupted in laughter and it really set the mood for the rest of the day. I was then standing in front of my husband to be, both of us unable to control our smiles, the only problem was the wind was so strong that it kept drying our mouths out. We found it hilarious as we were both trying to inconspicuously retain moisture.
Page !181
After the ceremony we ducked down to the beach for a few photos and then back on course for sunset. It was just beautiful. It was lovely to have a combination of scenic photos but if it wasn't for my love of the beach we could have easily stayed on course as there is so many photo opportunities.
!
The rest of the evening went so smoothly and that is a great deal to do with the wonderfully professional and friendly staff. Especially all the effort the wedding coordinator Michelle put in with the organisation of the day. She is an absolute gem and went the extra mile.
!
The chefs created a menu that was just delicious. Adam was rather nervous before his speech and didn’t have much of an appetite, so his only regret was that he didn’t get to enjoy the food after how amazing the tasting was.
! !
!
I cannot recommend all the wedding suppliers we chose highly enough. Thanks to them we had the most sensational day that has created memories to last us a lifetime!

A Little Tradition !
Virtually every part of a wedding, from the engagement to the honeymoon, has rich history. Cultural roots, ancestry, and religious beliefs have shaped marriages for thousands of years. The following is just a few traditions that have stood the test of time.
Giving Away The Bride
The father who "gives away" his daughter at her wedding ceremony is following an ancient tradition that has evolved over hundreds, if not thousands of years. The custom dates back to the time when a daughter was considered property, and the groom had to pay a price to her family before he could be permitted to marry his intended.
Carrying The Bride Over The Threshold
Generations ago it was considered lady-like for the new bride to be, or to appear to be, hesitant to "give herself" to her new husband, whether or not she truly was. At the threshold to the bridal chamber, the husband would often have to carry the bride over to encourage her to go in. An older meaning is that during the days of "Marriage by Capture," the bride was certainly not going to go peacefully into the bridegroom's abode; thus, she was dragged or carried across the threshold.
Bridal Showers
This event has its roots in Holland. When a bride's father did not approve of the husbandto-be, he would not provide her with the necessary dowry. The bride's friends would therefore "shower" her with gifts so she would have her dowry and thus marry the man of her choice. While dowries are long gone today, the practice of giving gifts to the bride-to-be remain.

Your Wedding Dress… Caring for, storing and preserving your wedding dress
Finding your perfect wedding dress is one of the most exciting and fulfilling parts of planning your wedding. Once you have found your dress you need to make sure you care for it to ensure it is in perfect condition on your special day, and will remain that way for years to come. Before the wedding When you bring your dress home ensure you store it in a garment bag in a dry, clean space. Use a natural fabric garment bag as plastic bags are susceptible to heat and humidity. Hanging your dress will prevent it from creasing. Use a padded coat hanger. Avoid repeatedly trying on and handling your dress, as this will increase the chance of marking, staining and creasing. If you are handling your dress always try to wear gloves to prevent any subtle marking that may build up over time. On your wedding day Enjoy your dress! After months and likely even years of planning your dress will be a huge part of some amazing memories. After the wedding Have your dress cleaned as soon as possible. Compounds such as perfumes, make up, perspiration, food, beverages, oil and dirt are common dress contaminants that build up over the day. These compounds will set in with time so the sooner your dress is cleaned the more straight forward the cleaning process will be. If you’re lucky enough to be heading off on your honeymoon straight after the wedding consider a cleaner that offers hotel pick up. At Happily Ever After Wedding Dress Cleaning we offer complimentary hotel or residence pick up. We can deliver back to your residence once you’re home. If you can’t have your dress cleaned straight away store it in your natural fabric garment bag to minimise the chance of any damage while in storage. After cleaning you have two preservation options to ensure your dress lives happily ever after too. The choice of preservation technique is very individual with each option having different advantages. The most common technique we perform is box storage. A special type of box, made from acid-free materials, is used to protect against garment discolouration that can occur over time if the dress is stored in standard garment boxes. Box storage allows the dress to be easily stored under beds or in cupboards. Our most popular option is the window top box, allowing you to see the dress any time you like. Hanging preservation involves the use of a cloth garment bag. Natural fibre bags protect against moisture, UV and direct damage reducing dress fading, yellowing, brown spots and fabric thinning. Hanging storage will also prevent creasing. Hanging storage is the best option if you do plan to view your dress frequently over time, or if you plan to sell your dress. So when you are starting to make the exciting plans to find your perfect dress don’t forget to start to consider your plans to care for, clean and preserve it. Your dress deserves to live happily ever after too!

Catering Options. . .
more than just a burger & chips
Page !192
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR WEDDING CATERER When selecting a catering company you are looking for excellent food, service and the ability to work with the enormity of the detail involved in your day. There are certain key factors that you should discuss when meeting your caterer for the first time. AVAILABILITY First and foremost you need to see if your caterer is available on the date you require and find out what the booking and payment process is. Be sure to understand at what point your date becomes secure and when payments are needed. The last thing you want is a sudden shock and unexpected bill just before the wedding. We suggest that you ideally start researching and meeting with caterers at least 9 months before your wedding. Many venues may have a list of preferred suppliers, including caterers, so once your date is chosen and the venue is booked that’s a great time to start contacting catering companies. BUDGET It is important you get an early indication of catering costs and what they include. Ask about what options are available to you, if you are on a limited budget tell your caterer what it is – ideally they should be able to provide a package to suit your needs. Consider what is and what isn’t included in the price as often this can vary from one caterer to the next. The big things to look out for are whether your quote includes GST – you really don’t want to get stung if this is overlooked. Different caterers may or may not include tableware and linen hire within their quotes so make sure you run this past them as again it’s not something you want to have to find extra budget for right before the wedding. QUALITY OF FOOD When selecting your caterer you are looking for stunning presentation paired with sensational taste. Ask to see a portfolio of the caterers work with pictures of their food. It is important that your caterer has professional, commercial facilities and a team of talented individuals to serve your guests on the day. When meeting your caterer it’s advisable to ask about the quality and sustainability of the produce they source. Creating seasonal menus will impact highly on the quality and taste of you meal. TASTING SESSION Check the caterer offers a tasting experience but be conscious that popular caterers will have limited availability throughout the summer season. A tasting will allow you to fully understand the quality, style and presentation of their food and gives you the opportunity to explore how your own ideas can be worked into their existing menus. GREAT EXPECTATIONS A good caterer should understand your overall vision for the day and listen to your ideas, they should be able to use their wealth of experience and build upon your ideas to go beyond your expectations for the day. EXPERIENCE Choose a professional catering team with experience in delivering exceptional and inspired weddings and events. Use social media and websites to see what jobs they have most recently worked on and their presence in the catering market. SETTING THE SCENE It is important to remember the importance a caterer plays in your day, with the exception of brides using a wedding planner, your caterer is likely to be the last supplier to dress your tables before the celebrations begin. Good caterers will double check the final look of your reception including element of décor – including the flowers, table centres and candles look perfect next to their tableware, they should go above and beyond to ensure a couple’s vision is achieved on the day. It’s vital your caterer takes the care and time needed to achieve this. SERVICE Finally, service is extremely important, equal to the quality and style of your food. It’s important that you receive the upmost level of service right from your initial enquiry, through to your tasting session right up until the end of the wedding day itself. Your caterer should provide you with the enthusiasm, excitement and expertise your wedding deserves!

And one place where you are definitely the guest of honour is at a bridal expo. Page 2! 15
Bridal fairs are actually the most convenient way to learn about all the amazing wedding options, from a fashion-forward gown to a cute cake topper. Bianca & Melissa from the Sunshine Coast Bridal Showcase, assures us that “It would take you months to meet with all the businesses we pack into one Bridal Showcase.” Also they say “Savvy couples look to fairs to help them make educated decisions in a time-efficient manner.” Fairs also bring tangibility to shopping for services. “At a fair, you experience with all your senses what you miss online or in the printed word,” says Melissa. “You’ll smell the flowers…taste the cakes…listen to the bands…try on the veils!” Once you’re face-to-face with the experts, you can ask them your most burning questions: Can my wedding cake be chocolate? (Absolutely). Do you recommend a garden wedding in June or September? Does that bridesmaid’s dress come in mustard? (Don’t go there).
!
Where else but at a bridal fair can you preview wedding reception packages for all types of different venues, peruse photographers’ portfolios, see and hear entertainers? As you walk past the exhibitors, you’ll be encouraged to sign up for lucky prizes (who doesn’t like to win!). Caterers will tempt you with the likes of grilled haloumi with tomato salsa & fresh basil. Cake designers will entice you with nibbles of buttercreamfrosted cake (you can work it off in Pilates class). You and your entourage can play with wedding jewellery and bridal fashion accessories like veils and tiaras (go ahead and pick out a grand, sparkly one!). You’ll pick up stylish decor ideas, as well as a few freebies along the way. At the Sunshine Coast Bridal Showcase they love giveaways so each bride receives a show bag on entry filled with special offers, treats and a variety of fantastic bridal magazines (you can never have enough). They also have lucky door prizes that are drawn through out the day and have two major prize draws after each fashion parade - giving away a “Wedding Gown” valued at $1500 from Ferrari Formalwear & Bridal and a “Photography Package” by the ever so popular Carlylooyah Professional Photography. A major highlight of most wedding expos is the fashion show: this is where you begin to envision your own unique aisle style.
!
So Little Time, So Many Fairs… When deciding what bridal expos to attend, start out by looking at local events. Local bridal shows have local suppliers (or at least should) this way you are getting to see the very best from the area you are having your wedding. It also makes sense to book local companies to assist with your budget. Nothing worse than booking a supplier that is based 150 kilometres away and having to pay traveling costs (it money that can be better spent). Talk to your married friends and see which expos they found the most interesting. Not all bridal fairs are alike. “Mega Fairs” are usually held in a spacious hotel function rooms. The upside of these expos is volume—you can see the most suppliers and options to get the best value for your money. The large crowds tend to create an energetic buzz, and there’s a good chance you’ll get caught up in the excitement, too. After all it’s your wedding you need to get excited. On the other hand, you may opt for a “Boutique Bridal Fair or Open Day,” frequently sponsored by a particular reception venue. These are usually more leisurely affairs, the venue often offers canapés and champagne and has on hand a few suppliers for you to talk to. These are great if it is the venue you have chosen as you will be able to see the room set up like it would be for your wedding day.

The Bride’s Motto: “Be Prepared” Just as bridal expos help you prepare for your wedding day, you should properly prepare for the expo. Like a good general drawing up battle plans before engaging his forces, you’ll benefit from your own plan of attack— making a checklist of required services, accessories and design questions will streamline your efforts. Pre-purchasing your tickets for these events saves you time on arrival at check-in, and often offer discounts. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes—you’re going to be doing a lot of walking. Bring a large sturdy bag or backpack, you’re going to be grabbing a lot of brochures and free magazines. Pack some cash many expo offer a place to purchase food and drinks so that you can take a moment to gather your thoughts and go back to any suppliers with additional questions. The most important thing to bring with you is a companion, someone to bounce ideas off of or keep you from making an impulsive decision you may later regret. Remember by attending a show with your fiancé you might be able to tick a couple of things off your list on the day. (Giving your husband-to-be the illusion of having input into the wedding will disguise the fact that you’re actually the one calling the shots!)
Ready, Set, Go! So here you are at last, meeting and greeting prospective florists, caterers, DJs, etc. When you’re interested in a particular service, make sure you get their details (sometimes contact information changes). Find out if this individual will actually be involved in your event (he or she may just be helping out at the booth). The best way to get a “feel” for the service is to advance as high up on the proverbial food chain as possible, even if you have to wait a few minutes for a key person’s attention. For example, you think Pam’s Photography has the best photos you’ve ever seen, and you begin discussing your photographic needs with a charming woman in the booth who you discover is Pam’s assistant. That’s all fine and dandy, but you really should talk with Pam herself, since she’s the one who’ll be taking the pictures. And if you’re looking at say, invitations, and you don’t see a style that matches your vision, then ask the designer. Many simply can’t bring all of their samples to the show. A good rule of thumb is to check everything out, sometimes there will be suppliers that you have not seen before, just remember be decisive if you love something then don’t wait, popular suppliers book early. Besides, many of them offer special discounts at the shows and the savings can add up. Another thing: we know you were raised to be polite, but you don’t have to give your contact information out to everyone—provide it only to those suppliers that make your short list. Schedule appointments with your favourite professionals and have fun!
Exit Stage Right If the thought of tasting one more piece of wedding cake makes your stomach churn, or seeing yet another photo of a smooching couple has you ready to draw moustaches on their faces, then you’ve had enough for one day. Armed with your notes, a collection of business cards, brochures and magazines, head for the door. When you get home, ask your fiancé (sweetly) for a foot massage; and while he’s rubbing lavender oil into your tired tootsies, entertain him with your adventures at the Bridal Show. (But don’t be surprised if he keeps one eye on the football game!)

Plan B
Page !218
!
We all dream about having the perfect wedding day with bright blue sunny skies and everything running to plan but the reality is somedays it rains and sometimes things just don t happen they way we want them too.
!
Being prepared for these types of days will help you stay calm and have an amazing wedding day despite everything that may be happening around you. People will ask about your Plan B don t think they are trying to spoil your dreams of your wedding day, it s just without a plan b you will stress about it.
!
So have a think about it - Where will the ceremony be if it is raining or too windy? Does your reception venue oer space to hold the ceremony inside or on a verandah? Is there an additional charge for this? How will you let your guests know if there is a change? Will your stylist move your ceremony decorations to the new location? Do you need to push the ceremony back 30 minutes to accommodate guests traveling to a dierent location? Is your celebrant booked after your wedding? Can you make time changes with your celebrant? Do you have umbrellas on stand by if you still want to go outside if it is just overcast? Does my photographer have location ideas for wet weather days?
!
By really thinking through all the variables you will come up with your very own Plan B . You will have time to make all of these choices (and be comfortable with them) and you wont have the situation where on your wedding day you are left scrambling looking for solutions to a lot of problems.
