Instructions:

- Begin in the upper left corner and play the contour of a line.

o Thin lines are static, soft, and sustained.

o Colorful lines are soloistic.

o If there is more than one player, specific colors may be assigned to performers beforehand, or may be negotiated on the spot during performance.

- Follow the lines around the perimeter of the page, allowing ample time for solos.

- When you’ve returned back to the upper left corner, you have the option to either continue around again or enter the inner shaded area.

o The shaded area in the left center of the page is a composite of past solo materials.

o The shaded area in the right center is blue solo material.

- Alternate freely between the two.

- End in either shaded area, either looping composite solo materials or blue solo material.
