Here we are after a three month hiatus due to that damned COVID-19 virus, and now we’re up and running. It’s been a long slow endurance for many of our readers and our advertisers, which some have shut their doors for good due to the financial burden it has caused and other have weathered the storm on a shoe string budget. But at least we are seeing a light at the end of this hollow tunnel. Most of the bars, dance clubs, and eateries have all taken the necessary precautions, and using the guidelines that were issued by authorities for social distancing and are functioning at half their capacity. So, follow all the rules and yes, together we’ll be back to a “near normal” lifestyle as before! So, let’s see who is actually doing what, in Metraland starting with Michigan. …MICHIGAN Allen Park: BLOSSOMS (313-389-5900), our good friends at Blossoms Florist are open and doing business as usual. They’re the home of the “Rainbow Roses” and many other arrangements, also other novelties for most occasions for sale. Call in orders can be delivered to most of Metropolitan Detroit Cities. Detroit: BODY ZONE (313-366-9663), is back with all new renovations and open 24/7 with 18+ welcomed. And you must have a government issued photo ID is required to enter. These are July events, Tuesdays and Thursdays are “BOYS NIGHT’S” with FREE lockers for members under 30. And then on every Wednesday it’s their “WET & WILD” Wednesdays with FREE lube. On July 4th it’s a Special “LIGHTS OUT” Night, where what happens in the dark stays in the dark, they also have “LIGHT’S OUT” Nights on Friday, July 10th and Friday, July 24th. Coming up on Friday, July 17th; get your “Kilts” on and come play at “CUMUNION” their International Sex Party. Continued on page 16 10 Metra Magazine, Issue # 945

Grand Rapids: The APARTMENT (616-451-0815), Bob Johnson has asked everyone to PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE wear a mask upon entry until you’re seated, also for trips to the restrooms and when leaving. They really don’t enjoy being the “bad guys” for asking for your cooperation, but it’s for everyone’s safety. And to THANK YOU for your understanding and compassion. If you need a mask please ask right away on entering the bar, and they are happy to provide you with one to keep! Remember, TOGETHER we all make a difference. 16 Metra Magazine, Issue # 945
