frankie & ALICE “frankie & Alice” this film is a disturbing and moving psychological drama which is based on the harrowing true story of Frankie Murdoch (Halle Berry), a woman who is suffering with multiple personality disorder in early 1970’s, Los Angeles. The film stars Halle Berry who also served as producer, with Stellan Skargard, Phylicia Rashad, Chandra Wilson, and Alex Diakin. “VIDAL SASSOON: The Movie” - this is a documentary of Vidal Sassoon the world’s best known hairdresser, and the one man who historically and radically changed the way many people thought about hair styling, as he rose to fame in the 1960’s. Sassoon was the innovator of the geometric “wash and wear” hairstyles that became all the rage in Swinging London and across Europe. Sassoon began a career cutting women’s hair in England in the 1950s and within a decade, his Bond Street Salon would become a worldwide sensation, for creating distinctive hairstyles which are still copied by many hairstylist today. As his shop turned into a franchise and he launched a successful line of hair care products, Sassoon proved to himself and everyone else that he was a shrewd businessman as well as an artist, but despite fame and wealth his life has been marked by both triumph and tragedy.
