Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of serial killer, Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger. CLA W 10 CLAW Leather Awareness Week April 28-May1, 2011 Compiled by Kene Keyz
In ten years, the CLAW Corp has donated over $250,000 to charities, and year’s CLAW 10 is scheduled for April 28-May 1, 2011 in Cleveland, Ohio. This year’s host hotel is at the Hampton Inn and the event is at Hilton Gardens Inn at Gateway Convention Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The CLAW 10 weekend is packed with events which includes numerous parties (daytime and nighttime), with an expanded vendor market, educational classes, forums, BDSM art show, local cultural events and ends with the showof-shows – the Leather Rouge Revue & Dance Party. Pricing for the basic package is $90 and the FULL package is $165. All inquisitive, new and experienced members of Leather/BDSM community are welcome. Package holders have access to the CLAW Trolley that provides transportation to and from offsite events and parties, so there’s no need to worry about who is driving or getting lost. CLAW Corp is a certified 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation dedicated to fundraising, education, volunteerism and all other charitable needs of the adult leather community. They are dedicated to the principle that people into leather are normal, happy and healthy, and teaching others the truth of the principles of the leather community. CLAW is made possible by hundreds of volunteers and for those who volunteer can obtain FREE basic packages to CLAW in exchange for five hours of volunteer time. It’s a great way to meet a new friend, or meet up with some long time friend. Volunteer opportunities are available when you register. Last year’s event produced over 1200 attendees from all over the country and the world from as far away as England, Germany, Norway, and Belarus. It started off as a fun promotion and has grown into the largest and most highly anticipated annual competition in Chicago’s GLBT community. Many winners have gone on to sing at Wrigley Field, Soldier Field, Market Days and at festivals around Illinois, Milwaukee, Detroit and even Toronto. Windy City Gay Idol preliminaries kick off Wednesday, April 6th at the Glenwood Bar in Rogers Park. Spin on Thursday, April 14th sign up at 9 competition stars at 10pm.
