In this psychological thriller Noah (Josh Danzinger) and Emily (Olesya Rulin) first met as children on a school field trip that turned tragic when their bus was involved in a serious accident. Ever since, Emily has suffered from a psychological condition known as ICD-10 F-24, in which she’s constantly haunted by visions of horrible tragedies; Noah is a part of Emily’s illness in that he also sees the same things when he’s around her, but not when they’re apart. While they share an emotional bond that makes it difficult for them to stay away it may be best that they keep their distance. Emily seeks treatment with a psychiatrist, Dr. Jane Sheppard (Joey Lauren Adams), as Dr. Sheppard explores and studies Emily’s hallucinations, she discovers they have a startling resemblance to real-life events and wonders if the young woman has a gift of prophecy. Also in the film are Michael Bowen, Jason Davis, and Sue Rock directed by Aaron Rottinghau . 10 Metra Magazine, Issue # 787

Henry Barthes, (Adrien Brody) is a substitute teacher who conveniently avoids any emotional connections by never staying anywhere long enough to form a bond with either his students or colleagues. Henry finds himself at a public school where an apathetic student body has created a frustrated, burned-out administration. He inadvertently becomes a role model to his students, while also bonding with a runaway teen who is just as lost as he is, Henry finds that he’s not alone in a life and death struggle to find beauty in a seemingly vicious and loveless world. This film is possiablly the best work Brody has done since “The Panist” also in the film is Marcia Gay Harden, James Caan, Lucy Liu, and Christina Hendricks. The film is directed by Tony Kaye for Tribeca Films. Metra Magazine, Issue # 787 11
