Alaska Seaplanes
Alaska Seaplanes is the premier commuter airline based in Juneau, Alaska. They operate a fleet of 14 aircraft. Their newest addition to the fleet is a Pilatus PC-12 – a fully pressurized, nine- passenger aircraft that flies above the weather cruising at speeds of up to 300mph and at altitudes of up to 29K feet. Alaska Seaplanes also operates 5 Cessna Caravans – one of the most capable aircraft in Southeast Alaska. Four of these aircraft are Supervan 900’s powered by a Honeywell (Garrett) 900 HP engine. They also operate a Piper Navajo Chieftain and two C-207’s. Five of these aircraft are regularly flown on an IFR platform to improve reliability in SE Alaska’s challenging weather conditions. In addition to the Caravan on floats, Alaska Seaplanes owns and operates three deHavilland Beavers and two C-206’s to give them the versatility to get you where you need to go.

He moved around Alaska living in Bethel and Fairbanks before settling in Juneau.
