The Gastineau Humane Society currently has 12 cats, 2 dogs, and 11 small animals available for adoption.
Everybody needs a dollop of Daisy! Especially when it comes in the form of this loving and attentive glob of fluff. This 5 year old domestic short hair has a funny, spunky personality that lights up a room and can make any bad day better. Daisy enjoys sitting on laps, telling jokes, and holding meaningful conversations with those she holds dear. She is seeking a forever home without canine companions where she can allow her personality to shine through.
Katrina
This lovely lady has been living large for most of her life and is now a pleasingly plump kitty who loves all kinds of attention. Katarina has beautiful gray fur with peach and white markings. She knows that she should probably lose a little weight, especially because she has trouble if you try to pick her up or have her sit on your lap. She has an overall friendly attitude and likes to show her appreciation with happy head bumps, face rubs and gentle purring. If you leave a blanket lying around she is likely to crawl under it and hide rather than sitting on top of it, but she is so large that it’s not difficult to find her underneath!
Gnat
Gnat is a distinguished gentleman who enjoys soft pillows, warm blankets, and sleeping in sun spots. Due to his lavish lifestyle he will need a family willing to teach him moderation and to help him lose weight in a healthy manner. Gnat would love a home with a family that can pet him while sitting on the couch and cuddle him while lying in bed. Have you have been searching for a quiet, loving companion? Fluffy J
There is really nothing fluffy about Fluffy J. He is a solid, strong young guy. His confident and independent personality matches his physique. Fluffy J is very playful and curious. He prefers action over quiet cuddling, but he will allow for friendly petting as long as you don’t try to hold him too close for too long. Much like an active teenage boy, he will push you away and complain – “Aww, Mom! Not in front of my friends!” Fluffy J gets along well with other cats and just about everyone he meets. His short, trim gray and white fur coat match his no-nonsense attitude.
