dedicated volunteers JA Canada, formerly known as Junior Achievement of Canada, is the country’s largest youth business education organization and is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in the global economy. The organization is a proud member of JA Worldwide, one of the largest global NGOs with a network of over 100 countries. The JA global network is powered by over 400,000 volunteers and mentors who reach 10 million students annually. Offering programs in the areas of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship, JA Canada strives to help students make informed and knowledgeable financial decisions, develop career plans, and express their innovative spirit. Last year, more than 248,000 young Canadians were impacted by more than 13,000 committed business mentors who shared their real world expertise as they delivered JA programs such as Dollars with Sense, Economics for Success, and Company Program. To date, over four million Canadian youth have participated in JA programs, free of charge.

As a registered charity, JA Canada is funded by generous donors who provide the organization with critical funding needed to develop and deliver programs, train volunteers, and offer scholarships to Canada’s future leaders. With their continued support, JA Canada plans to expand its programs to reach one million Canadian students per year by 2020.
