Final Concept: Fish Tank Typography After mulling over my choices, and recieving feedback from the class, I decided to go with the initial concept of Fish Tank. My first typeface choice is The Sans for it’s simplicity and likeness to the typography used in the film. A close second would be a slab serif, also used in the film as a secondary typeface. The roundness and full counters of Lubalin Graph were particularly attractive considering my concept. Knockout is a third typeface I’ve considered due to the similarities to the movie poster and printed materials I’v seen. Final Concept: Fish Tank Colors The opening scene of the film is the main character, “Mia”, standing in front of a blue wall. She’s out of breath. Therefore, I’d like the color palatte to be subtle, changing and based of an underwater or marine palatte. No pastels here, but deep blues, purples, contrasted with yellows and pinks.

Final Animation Stills I considered using my own video for this stage of my design, and if time permits, I may still give it a go. However, I wanted to master the art of the floating titles and was exposed to the world of expressions in After Effects. Through these thumbnails, you may track the progression of my animation.
