Becker Construction Group was started in 2021 by Aimee and her husband Duke; she joined full-time in 2023. Their focus is on residential remodels including decks and additions; they serve the Truckee and North Tahoe regions. Aimee is the Project Manager for Becker Construction Group in Truckee. Her background is in marketing and event management, which provided her with a lot of valuable skills for volunteering at CATT. After her first year of active involvement, she was awarded Volunteer of the Year and elected to the Board of Directors. In addition to the board, she is the Mixer Chair and also an integral part of the marketing committee, which has focused on celebrating our first female president, Meghan Behm. Aimee has been inspired by our new Executive Director’s ability to rally our organization to address local issues that impact the building industry. Aimee stated, “When we get involved, and show up, our voices are heard and that is why I participate in CATT.”

What Aimee is most surprised by in her work as a Construction Project Manager is how rewarding the work is. According to Aimee, the customers are so wonderful and it is rewarding to transform a damaged or outdated home into a beautiful space. She says, “It’s a partnership between us, our subcontractors, and our customers and I absolutely love what I do.”
