Buyers have returned, sellers are following The South End real estate market is showing strong signs of a recovery in the first quarter of 2010, following a strong decline in 2009. While average and median sales prices are on the rise, values have still not returned to the highs seen in 2008. Looking beyond the data, there has been renewed optimism and increased activity in the neighborhood. Simply put, the buzz is back. We saw buyers re-enter the market toward the end of 2009, and in the beginning of 2010, sellers have followed. In fact, the number of homes for sale indowntown Boston just passed the 1,000 unit mark.
