Below is a transcription of this video – I just started reading the 4-Hour Chef by Tim Ferris and what is interesting is, I have no interest in cooking. It’s more along the lines of meta learning teaching. It’s about how to learn anything quickly and that is something I want to learn and develop. It’s interesting, when you get into the story, he tells that he wants to develop sustainable farmers because most of the farmers in the world are going to be retiring in the United States in the next ten years.
I think what’s going to replace those is farms from the major corporations like the Monsant’s of the world or the possibility of having micro farms that are run by people and going to take that a movement of people who are purchasing the right food. It was interesting that he knows he wouldn’t speak to me from a cookbook specifically but I came for the meta learning aspect but got interested in the food aspect of the [inaudible]. The reason I go through it and the reason I share that is because there is multiple layers to everything we do and multiple purposes for everything we do. The fact is to come up with something that’s purposeful enough to you and that is compelling to follow through in the end and compelling enough for other people so that they can actually follow the message. Time Ferris has done very good at hooking me in that and I just want to keep reading and reading and reading.
