Below is a transcription of this video – Hey, this is Justin and I want to talk about what happens when something takes you out of your game. This video is being recorded inside a commitment to record and share three thousand video in the next ninety days. I’m doing this really to develop myself as an awesome communicator and a person who could communicate in a way that has people see something of value for themselves out of the communication. I wanted to share something: so yesterday it rained and I had this great plan earlier this week. I walked into the office, my office is about six and a half miles from my house and I walked to the office everyday and that’s great, because I
could do is record my videos, I could listen to my audios, do some thinking during that time. Beautiful thing about it, my commute used to be about an hour, now it’s an hour and forty five minutes, so I have an additional forty five minutes of time but I get exercise and I get a ton of work done during that period of time and I feel great for the rest of the day. Yesterday it rained, couldn’t walk yesterday. And it was funny, I’m totally lost, right? I’m not totally lost but I didn’t know what to do and I kinda felt like (noise). I share that because you got to have contingency plans in place. Things don’t always go according to plan. It’s great to lock in something that actually works and something that is excellent and the solutions that actually work for you but if you don’t have a contingency in plan or in place, you’re really screwed. So, what I did is put something together, what I realize is what I should have done yesterday is went early in the morning and walked home. I could have walked home and achieved the the same thing. It’s not as good as walking early in the morning but I could have walked home from the office yesterday. Could have done a some exercise for a different period of time or could have done a different activity. I share that because we’ve got to be able to anticipate hurdles coming up and when we can anticipate those hurdles then you can actually do something about it on the other side.
