My first video or one of my first videos with my new bloggy camera. I had to get this camera because recording 3,000 videos over the next 90 days, I was doing the videos on my iPhone. The videos looked really nice on there, but the problem was they were huge. They were too big, they were taking forever to upload. Now I’ve got some high speed internet set up. I might go back to it, but anyway, this isn’t about a camera. This is about beliefs, really.
It used to be I thought I couldn’t afford a negative thought, couldn’t have any negative thoughts. My whole life is spent around trying to control a thinking and having negative thoughts. I used to have negative thoughts all the time. Now, I just one gauge. What am I talking about when I’m in the shower? What do you talk about in the shower in the morning and what are the thoughts that are going through my head? Positive thoughts or negative thoughts? That’s just the one gauge. I’m not going to sit here and tell you you need to have good beliefs because if you’re watching this video, you know that. You know you’ve got positive [inaudible]. What I am saying, which is actually very valuable is being able to measure, having a data point where you can figure out how your beliefs are actually going. As I said, what am I talking about? The stuff I’m talking about the shower in the morning is positive things. Is it a positive or a negative thing? What can I do to actually change that and make the day go a different direction? It’s funny, those days where I have positive stuff going on in my head in the shower in the morning are usually good days. Those days where I don’t, they’re not good days. There’s an exception to that. I’m totally annoyed. I was two days ago. I was pissed off talking to myself, yelling to myself and that’s actually a good thing, too, because that’s a time for an opportunity for a breakthrough.
It’s those subtle things you don’t think about, those little niceties that you say to yourself to kind of talk yourself down from the problem. If you like to get really mad, get really upset, that’s a good thing. Most of the time you’re going to have the positives going through. Anyway, thanks a lot of listening to this. This is Justin.
