Part of that, I look at just brilliant people and what brilliant people are doing and summarize myself with their sharing and see what lessons I can actually take into my life based on what we’ve been sharing and I create videos to solidify that, share my thoughts with other people. This one is called “Sometimes More Is Not What You Want.” Godin claims that the person with more knowledge is not going to outperform the person who has just enough knowledge. The concept is, it starts with also talking


about mediocrity, fitting in better than anybody else isn’t going to get you any place. To do anything of any substance or any value is really going to take some extraordinary effort in being a little bit different. We talk about the knowledge the other person who has too much knowledge or the most amount of knowledge as opposed to the person with just enough knowledge. There’s a lot more that can be created by the person who has enough knowledge and puts that knowledge into practice. Here’s the big takeaway that I got from this. Having more on your to-do-list is not necessarily a good thing. When we begin the habit of constantly working to create more and more, those that are most successful do a few things extraordinary. Well, that’s a right [inaudible] for a person of myself. The funny thing is you have to overcome the mind and peer pressure, take care of every little thing that jumps out of those. My office isn’t so clean right now and there’s a tendency, I just want to get my office clean but everything has its place. It’s important not to take on every little thing that pops out of us.
