I went to a co-ed event yesterday and dealing with men and women relationships. It was awesome. It was a good time and got to connect with a lot of people. At the end of it, there was no next event. There was nothing that this event was building up to.
I felt disappointed at the end of it. That high that I was on at that point in time, it didn’t have anyplace to actually take that high, so I’ve got to go back and actually do something and build something and connections and something. Life starts taking over and life starts getting in the way and you start doing other things and heading in a different direction, soon enough you’ll forget how great the event was and wanting to do something like that in the future. I was thinking, it really takes care of people if you’re planning an event. I’ve planned quite a few events. Planning an event to actually create the next event before you leave the one previously because it allows people who do have a great experience to have something in the future they can look forward to. They can keep the momentum going from the previous event. I was just thinking about that. I know a lot of people planning events. I don’t want to burden people with the next thing, but I think the contrary is absolutely the truth. You want to create continuity, especially for somebody like me. Create continuity. Somebody who’s doing a lot of different things and working on a lot of different things and working on a lot of different things and has a lot of different interests. You want to create continuity so they can stay engaged in the conversation. That allows you to actually build for the future and build things that you want to do into the future.
