THE BALLROOM From top to bottom, our Ballroom is a truly one of a kind space. Imagine exposed brick walls, restored pine flooring and Victorian windows as you make a grand entrance through the hotel lobby.

" Choosing to host our wedding at the Gladstone made sense: it was our go-to spot for stay-cations and we wanted our loved ones to experience the great atmosphere and unique rooms. Our expectations were surpassed with the care and support we received. Our contact, Andrew offered great insight and knowledge during the planning stages. The kitchen, led by Chef Katie, was accommodating to our dietary needs and offered creative, delicious dishes. Most importantly, we felt free to enjoy the big day without worrying about the myriad of details it takes to pull off an event of this size. Sliding doors at the south end of the Ballroom open into the Café creating one single, stunning space. Referred to as the Full Ballroom, the Ballroom + Café is ideal for the grandest of weddings. Please note the Café may not be rented on its own but can be added as an extension of the Ballroom.

A DD ITIO NAL IN F O R M AT IO N TASTINGS A complimentary tasting for two can be arranged in advance for a confirmed booking once the menu has been decided. LABOUR The Gladstone Hotel provides all staffing. A 17% service charge is added to all catering, food and host bar charges. There are no additional labour costs. AUDIO VISUAL All venue spaces are equipped with full AV capabilities. DÉCOR The Gladstone Hotel provides all furniture, basic white/black linens, and dinner wares for all events. Additional string lighting can be added to the ceiling for a fee of $250. We are happy to recommend suppliers for any specialty items that may be necessary. One of our professional event coordinators will be happy to make recommendations. TAXES All event charges are subject to HST. BRIDAL/GROOM SUITE A bridal/groom suite can be rented for $250 per day. The suite is fully furnished and includes a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. SUPPLIERS We are happy to recommend suppliers for all aspects of your event including dÊcor, florists, photographers, DJs, etc. NEIGHBOURHOOD An endless stretch of art galleries, fashion boutiques, and culinary retreats make West Queen West one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world.
