FIELDWORK METHODOLOGY AND RESULTS

Register Searches
Searches of the Aboriginal Heritage Information Management System (AHIMS) database, the Commonwealth Heritage List, National Heritage List, Register of the National Estate, NSW Heritage Register, NSW Heritage Inventory and Lismore LEP were all undertaken to determine the locations of known heritage items. This information was mapped, along with information from previous reports, pertaining to nearby sites. No sites of non-Aboriginal Heritage were found to be within or sufficiently close to the proposed Dam Site, its inundation areas, environmental buffer or catchment to be cause for concern as shown in Figure 20. The following items were identified by the AHIMS search as being within 20km of the Proposed Dunoon Dam and are shown in Figure 19:
