A’
To make the design more authentic the whole interior space has Makrana White Marble flooring with Brass Inlay In traditional patterns. At the exterior parts of the building, such as patios and the main entrance, the flooring is sand-blasted Red Mandana.
PLANS The furniture reflects the ‘Wada’ Architecture, having Metal Bases with heavy ornamentation. SECTION-AA’

SECTIONS
All of the opening are of glass, and covered by curtains with scenes from ‘Maha-Bharata’ & ‘Ramayana’ printed on them.
2. The objective for this exercise was to select a brand and study it to its depth and cumulate it into a concept and design a retail showroom for that same brand in the given site using that concept. The concept here is – VOGUE.
This particular showroom of the respective brand, has a new retail format – showcasing only the exclusive product portfolio.
Imagining word ‘Vogue’ in a space, diagonality in planes, flooring makes a space exclusive.
Materials, brushed brass, Statuario marble, black leather takes the experience of a customer to another level.
The placement of activities in the plan is symmetrical, keeping it simple and looking spacious.
Showcasing only the premium products, each product is being flaunted. PLAN
PLAN Keeping the walls grey, complements the Statuario flooring and highlights the products.
SECTION-CC’
The discussion area has single black leather sofas and wooden tables with a over hanging brass Body, filament lamp – Functional & Stylish. SECTION-DD’
The wooden panel in centre, with Acrylic Signage saying ‘VOGUE by CERA’, is the first thing a customer sees while entering the space.

SECTION-BB’
The store front has an acrylic signage and wooden panelling, both back-lit using warm white illumination.

PLAN
Making it subtle, the placement is quite symmetric, the main entrance is further bifurcated in two other sub-entries, one on the right takes you to the most crowded place – workstations and cubicles. While on the left side lies the general spaces, service areas, and a private way for the CEO to reach her cabin.
PLAN
The Cabin & CEO Area gets the benefit of natural lighting.
The overall flooring is of Grey IPS, complementing the plain white Walls and ceiling. The furniture, including – workstations, chairs, meeting tables, all are black in colour, supporting the concept.
SECTIONS
KEY PLAN
The reception area is the most spacious area of the site, it includes 2 waiting areas, a Reception Desk, and a few services. The reception is a one-piece block of Statuario Marble with Brass Framing.
RECEPTION AREA
KEY PLAN
The CEO space being on the other hand of the site, includes a PA Cabin with waiting, a private Meeting Space, a private Washroom & a CEO Desk. The CEO Cabin includes a full height shelf behind the desk and a Lounge Sofa.

. (Working Drawing) The objective of this exercise was to select a fashion designer (Anju Modi) and design an Atelier and a residence, for the same designer. And generate a complete set of working drawings, for both the space. The Atelier, showcases the Swadeshi Collection of the designer, hence, the design concept followed is ‘Earthy’. The residence should reflect the designer’s personality, hence the design concept followed is ‘Contemporized Indian’.
