Mugello Electronic beam steerable, powered line array speakers The Mugello line is our flagship series. With incredibly flat boxes, it’s apparent the KH2, KH3 and KH5 are lightweight solutions that saves space along with transportation costs. But the biggest takeaways are their impressive power, intelligible control and high quality. Mugello’s compact design allows sound to exit instantaneously without resonance, resulting in a better impulse response and maximum clarity and definition. DESCRIPTION The Mugello-KH2 is the smallest mid-high line array element in the Concert Series. The self-powered speaker is comprised of two 8” neodymium magnet woofers each with a 2.5” voice coil and two 1.4” compression drivers with a 2.5” voice coil each. However small in size, the Mugello-KH2 delivers a really large sound, ensuring exceptionally high performance with a peak SPL of 136 dB. Measuring at 83.9 cm x 28.5 cm x 21.0 cm, this compact speaker is a perfect solution for applications in intimate concert halls, theaters and clubs.

Large format, self-powered, subwoofer

DESCRIPTION The Mugello-KS5 is an incredibly versatile, 2x21� self-powered subwoofer featuring neodymium magnets with 6� voice coils driven by a powerful Class D amplifier. The large ports are designed to be fully symmetrical to the speakers which means the back loading of the drivers is consistent and even with no port air turbulence. The triangle port construction also provided excellent structural integrity and strength, effectively eliminating any box resonance. The rear panel provides inputs for both balanced line signals and digital signals in AES/EBU protocol, also on an XLR for ease of cabling. All DSP functions including EQ can be controlled with remote managing software via USB or RS485, again conveniently on a standard XLR. There are different DSP presets, specifically made by K-array to optimize the system performance of the variety of device configuration available. Additionally, you can also create, save, and store your own personal presets on the Mugello-KS5. ACCESSORIES

The Firenze Series, comprised of the Firenze-KH8, Firenze-KH7, Firenze-KS7 and Firenze-KS8, is a set of powerful, top-of-the-line touring systems. Boasting Electronic Beam Steering (EBS) capabilites, sound performance is optimized with the ability to precisely and independently control each element of the array eliminating noise pollution: the series is fully controlled by onboard DSPs for hyper-detailed beam steering and maximum operational flexibility. Its unique EBS technology allows the user to direct the sound in a targeted area and provide continuous, even coverage. DESCRIPTION The Firenze-KH8 is a powerful, top-of-the-line touring system featuring Slim Array Technology and Electronic Beam Steering. Self-powered and weather resistant, the KH8 produces an exceptional peak output of 145 dB SPL and is fully controlled by 8 onboard DSP channels for maximum operational flexibility offering a unique solution to the live sound market. The system allows you to pre-cable stacks of 3 units to fly a straight 24-unit cluster in less than 10 minutes because it is not necessary to dismount the entire cluster: the speakers are anchored in groups of three within rigid frames that can be connected quickly to create longer clusters. Compared to traditional systems that require wiring and a mechanical connection for each speaker, the KH8 is more time effictive for a cost-sensitive solution. Diversity UK Tour A Firenze system was used throughout a 10-date UK arena tour of street dance troupe Diversity. The physical rigging of the system was incredibly quick and the whole system was set in under 30 minutes. I knew using Firenze was a good decision, however, I was made very aware that, should things not be as good as demanded, I would be held very much to account for my choice of system. The fact is that it afforded me massive amounts of headroom and it never felt close to any limits. The subs provide frequencies that wrap you in LF and the stereo image is excellent, with the smallest of adjustment being fully represented from console to speakers. Overall the system was outstanding, with great reliability and incredibly easy setup.

Rock in Rio Music Festival Rock in Rio is one of the largest, most-recognized music festivals in the world, with several global affiliations. The Lisbon edition held at Parque da Bela Vista featured a Firenze system chosen by Brazilian rental powerhouse, Gabisom, to be installed and operated at the festival’s secondary stage sponsored by Vodafone that hosted 3 live shows each day for a grueling 14-day period. I have been on the Rock in Rio gigs since they began in Lisbon and I’m sure this is the best system I have used. The Firenze system provided impressive clarity and definition from the stage all the way to the back of the venue. I’ve also never seen a system so easy and quick to set up. There’s one signal cable and one power cable for up to 12 boxes, so all you have to do is hang two hoists and clip the sets of boxes on three at a time. The speed which you can do this and also aim each box is perfect for a festival job where time is tight.

An impressive PA of Firenze loudspeakers provided the high pressure and clarity while the Electronic Beam Steering technology, which ensures uniform sound pressure and frequency throughout the audience and limits the noise pollution in the areas where the sound must be kept at a minimum, was crucial to the festival’s success since the outdoor venue is located in the heart of the city and regional government officials had imposed very low decibel limits at certain hours for neighboring residents. read more [+]

For me, a live system must mainly guarantee uniform coverage and frequency response levels regardless of The Firenze system used at the Decibel Festival immediately impressed me with its extraordinary even frequency response both in the medium-high range and the subs. The fast and precise transient response, albeit with very restrictive acoustic limits at 95 dB, allowed me to maintain an SPL appropriate for this music genera. Regarding the system’s coverage, its Electronic Beam Steering technology is definitely its biggest advantage, providing the possibility to digitally adjust the sound beam to the desired coverage area depending on the amount of public present, which makes it flexible to levels that were once unimaginable. Overall, the system really impressed me and I look forward to using it again soon.
