ABOUT A creative minds who are not afraid of exploring different aspect of design for an orginal idea of architecture. An ambitious individual who finds interest in learning and investigating new technologies, with a passion to further the architectural field of thinking past the physical and into a new imaginative realms . Aside from studying architecture, I really love architecture. I love being next to, in, around, below and above it.

M T Y H Is no mystery to be left to us?The world has changed as we are becoming more dependent on technology thus it has gradually deprived us of our dreams – even as it exposed them. Myths gradually disappeared. The need for some sort of belief blurred the boundaries between reality and imagination.

F A C T O R Y

Hence the need for a place where one can carefully crafted myths and con- spiracy is created , embedded in the mysterious island of Es Vedra, Ibiza. The island allows for myths to be create through series of complex process and department such the depository, the laboratory, the manufacture and the dissemination.

M Y T H

FAC TO RY

This project explore the speculative ideas of how myth is formed within the generation Y and its relationship between them.It is also represent the idea of how myth slowly embedded into our everyday life without us realising it.

Oxford Brookes University

Standing at almost 400 metres high, this uninhabited rock island made of limestone is situated 2km off the west coast of Ibiza, in the Cala d’Hort area.Es Vedra consists of mesozoic limestone and many myth surrounds the island. The island is a result of geological tumble by the continous seismic movement in the earths crust which caused great shift in the Betica Mountain Range 155 million years ago.

The project started with extensive research behind the question of how myth has been created?. Various departments are then designed as part of the myth process such as Depository, Laboratory, Manufacture, Dissemination and Head Quarter. These departments then help form the overall design of the Myth Factory by placing it in suitable location within the excavate part of the Es Vedra Island.

“Mythology is not a lie, mythology is poetry, it is metaphorical. It has been well said that mythology is the penultimate truth--penul- timate because the ultimate cannot be put into words. It is beyond words. Beyond images, beyond that bounding rim of the Buddhist Wheel of Becoming. Mythology pitches the mind beyond that rim, to w h a t c a n b e k n o w n b u t n o t t o l d .

C L O W N I T E C T U R E Architecture exists in an endless negotiation between what we imagine and what we build. Architecture lies in the realm of our perception. Our perception is a form of highly imaginative ideas of realm. However clown’ perception are a collectable of child-like behaviour and absurdity by doing the unthinkable. Thus clowns are seeking of a way to create a new world, rather than repeating the existing.

C L O W N I T E C T U R E As the clown created clownitecture, it became a ‘new world’, where the impossible becomes possible, dreams become reality and absurdity becomes realistic.

This project started with an extensive research into Clown’s perspective. Clown Role play in Brick Lane was the initial study along that will help assist in realisation of a min story which will be used as a base for the design process. Sketch idea is then created as a storyline as to how the clown’s architecture would have look like.

During the day time, Clownitecture then serves as a circus which run by Mr. & Mrs. Clown. The gantry will then be rolled out using the mechanism in front of the castle top. The carriages would be convert into seating for the audience.

During the night time the Clownitecture serves as a home for Mr. & Mrs. Clown, therefore the gantry wul contract by pulling each facade closer to each other to create a home atmosphere for both clown characters.

MIDKENT COLLEGE Maidstone, UK Phase I

The Maidstone Campus of MidKent College is situated in Oakwood Park, a parkland setting for a series of secondary and further and higher education facilities. The proposal focuses on the rationalisation of the college estate.

The more efficient, adaptable buildings are to be internally linked together, refurbished and over-clad to focus on a secure central courtyard,. the college heart, and a new Entrance Forecourt.

I was involved in this project from RIBA stage 4 - 7. My main duties was to create 3D representation in both 3D Studio Max and Sketchup to help the project architect in design. I was also able to help assisted in drawings such as plans, elevation and section for the scheme and also detailed drawings for construction stage. Midkent College, Maidstone
