Style #: 64401F.178 Description: Glide T Season and Sport: Fall 2006 Fit: Semi Fitted Sample Size: M Colours: Fabrics: #1: MidZero #2: convector back #3: Thread Color: matching Notions:

Base Reference: Size Range: XS-XL Category: ALTERNATIVE - sub front panel - sub left cuff panel 1.75” width - collar CB height 1.125 CF height .5” - shifted sideseams - no underarm seam - slight shaped hem - shallow V-neck

(designed with shifted sideseams & no underarm seams minimal underarm abrasion)

Sublimated graphic and relaxed fit combine performance, style and comfort. MidZero is a full stretch wicking midweight base layer that is fleeced on the inside for amazing comfort Convector provides comfort and warmth by allowing air to circulate between the fabric and the skin surface Zone Construction: Well-regulated combination of MidZero on the front and sleeves with Convector on the back Shallow V-neckline for better coverage Glide strip sublimated front panel Detailed with flat lock stitching

The design brief was to design a new thermal top with graphics, something that was fresh and energetic, different from what they’ve done in the past. I wanted to keep the collection cohesive, so I decided to go with stripes of some sort, as I had already designed that for the men’s. What I came up with was a sublimated panel (cost efficient) across the chest on an angle, which avoids abrasion on sensitive areas, as well as adding a hit of colour to the sleeve, to set the top apart with something new. The design of the graphics was also carried through to a fitness tank as well.

This piece was developed offshore, with prototypes and samples shipped back to us designers to make adjustments and revisions. Design needed minimal underarm seams and high visibility. The well placed contrast panels and reflective panels lends itself to a masuline look, with high visibility for jogging in less than bright conditions. slight articulated elbows for less fabric creasing on the inside of the elbows for comfort (something carried over from my skiwear development days)

I initiated the logo embossing at the larger size to make it more stylized and more of an understated. branding. We tested this method out first on a spring Run Jacket to test the market, and after it received well, I was able to carry it out in a few more pieces in this fall season’s line up.
