Interior Unit Mockup I spent a good amount of time working with on the Central Park Station project. An important task I was

assigned to was to produce sheets for a mockup unit. Using the most frequently occurring unit types within the reference model, I was able to recreate

a mockup unit with existing model groups. I created views and placed them on new sheets I made. I adjusted components within the model, drew up new elements, and created annotations to communicate dimensions and spatial qualities about the mockup unit.

Fixing Elevations This California project had passed through the hands of many different people as the Revit model was developing, so parts were inconsistant. After working on fixing trim, stacked wall types, materials, legends, and keynotes, I really started to grasp KTGY’s work flow and process of modeling.

Detail Sheets Many architectural details found in a KTGY project can be used throughout multiple projects. It is common to extract these views from one Revit project to another to save time and energy.

At my time at KTGY, I touched about a dozen different projects. Some projects would need more assistance and I would spend large amounts of time helping, such as Fitzsimons Village and Dearborn. Other projects

would only need minor touch ups, so

some weeks I would jump between many different projects. The Boulder Amenity Building, Sync 36, Syracuse, Hyde Park, and Ho’Opili are a few other projects that I assisted with smaller tasks.

MACRO UNITS A Housing Concept The purpose of this proposal is to create a unique format for a residential building within a high density area that enhances the social experience through shared spaces. The development should provide spaces and amenities that promote social interaction while still accommodating individual needs.

The context of Denver and the overall design intent means we must carefully consider on the organization and spatial relationships between individual dwellings, shared living areas, and shared amenities.

Overall Plans With the concept and design intent in mind, a series of schematic plans and massings were created to imagine the overall function and form of the project.

Flashing on Windows Tyvek wrap is applied all around the exterior of the building and is folded inside where windows punch through. Flashing tape seals any gaps between the window frame and the wall wrap.

Wall meets Footing The wood framed building sits directly on concrete footings and slabs.
