I am so looking forward to 2024 and the 15th Anniversary of the U•BASS®! You might not know that my son, Ben, is actually credited with naming the U•BASS, and the “U” doesn’t refer to ukulele as many think, but to our family name, Upton.

I am very excited about our new Solid Body U•BASS released this past fall. This short scale bass is the perfect size for kids and adults alike to play. We have received great feedback on the sound, feel, and playability of the bass. Look out for new pastel color variations for 2024.

Ukulele players have really connected with the themes of the Voyage Collection ukes, and so we are expanding the line, in 2024, to include two beautiful floral-themed designs: Hibiscus and Gardenia. Our collaboration on these ukes with Maōri cultural artist, Sam Mangakahia, has been a really exciting journey.
