Fedelis to Australia
I am so exited! We are headed for the giant ship. My name is Fedelis. Sadie, my owner, says I’m a black lab.She also said we are going to Australia. Any ways, we are on the ship and it has everything! It has a waterslide on the ship! I’m trying to stay on the bright side because it has a giant waterslide but no dog park!? I’m still very happy because Sadie opened the door to our room on the ship and it is amazing! It reminds me of our apartment in Paris; it’s big and has a big window with a cool view. Suddenly the big ship starts to move! It goes back and forth, back and forth. I’ve been watching the window for hours and…PLOP, PLOP, PLOP, PLOP…BANG! It’s starting to rain…and thunder. I love rain…and thunder! It’s about nine o’clock so Sadie is asleep.
Ever so quietly I push a chair over to the door and…JUMP onto the chair and CREEEK goes the door as I open it. As I am walking closer and closer to the deck I notice how much louder it is up here than it is down there. Finally, I hop up the stairs and jump up and open the door CREEEEK… WOOSH the door slams open and out I go. In the blink of an eye, I’m sucked out in to the wind that’s pulling me toward the ocean. The wind, like a hand throwing everything into the ocean. I’m trying to hold on to dear life as I’m being sucked into the ocean. My paws are slipping of the edge and I’m sucked into the ocean. The current pulls me under as I’m trying to swim back to the big ship. As soon as the big wave invites me in to the water, I faint. I wake up to an unfamiliar voice that’s saying, “Do you think it’s alive”? I pry my eyes open a little to see a black and white hair ball with eyes.
Finally I start to notice that I’m in the ocean with little castles in it … IT’S ATLANTIS! I’m breathing under water and …the fur ball starts to talk again it says, “You must be hungry. My name’s Jax and I am a magical dog with fins. When you fell off the ship I made it so that you can breathe under water.” I finally ask how far away we are from Australia and Jax replies; “well you’re about 5,000 miles away.” How fast can you swim? Fast. Why? Because you’re going to swim me there. WHAT! Well then how will I get there? You’re going to swim there. Fine. I will go now. I will come. And then we left.
We traveled for miles and miles with turtles and jellyfish and sea horses till we finally arrived at Australia.
I thanked Jax and went on land to find Sadie. It started to get dark so I fell asleep on the sand. I awoke to the noise of a colorful bird. But then I heard a rumble in the coconut trees I looked around the trees and saw an elephant. Her name is Samba. She promised to help me if I helped her find her group of elephants.
We looked everywhere till we found a giant ship in the water headed for shore. We headed for the ship till we came to a stop. Samba saw a group of elephants, her group of elephants. I thanked Samba for her help and sprinted to the ship. I didn’t realize how hungry I was till I smelled bacon, eggs and pancakes coming from the ship. I raced even faster when I found Sadie. And when it couldn’t get any better she asked me if I was hungry and so we went to do get breakfast at the hotel.
