Canada Games Aquatic Centre INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Starting in June, the Canada Games Aquatic Centre will undergo an extensive renovation that will improve accessibility and sustainability, and extend the life of the pool for years to come!

Aquatics Programming We are working hard to meet the community’s needs through extended hours at Brock Pool and Westsyde Pool, and are developing schedules that will maximize access to these facilities for as many people as possible. All aquatics and recreation programs, including swimming lessons, will be limited by availability. Schedules will be posted to Kamloops.ca/swim once they are available. Subscribe at LetsTalk.Kamloops.ca/CGAC to be notified when schedules are available.

TCC Memberships All memberships that include pool access will be prorated and cancelled effective June 25. Members can apply their credit toward another membership, or request a refund to be applied to the original form of payment.

Tournament Capital Centre The TCC will remain open with regular hours during the pool closure. We are also excited to announce the City is replacing the artificial turf in Hillside Stadium in 2020. This will require a full closure of the stadium from June 4 to July 9.

The Canada Games Aquatic Centre will be closed June 25, 2020-January 2, 2021

Westsyde Pool will be closed from March 23-May 11 for Phase 2 of the Retrofit Project. The fitness centre will remain open. Starting June 29, Westsyde Pool will have extended hours to accommodate the closure of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
