Birth of Gay Pride by Chloé

Fight between policemen and gay people created the Gay Pride. This event took place in the Stonewall Inn bar in 1969. Then the first walk "Christopher Street Liberation Parade " was impulsed by Craig Rodwell in New-York on the 28 of June 1970. Almost 10 years after Paris followed the movement and got the first manifestation on the 25 of June 1977. And the first Gay Pride walk was on 1979. It starts from " Place de la République " and ends at " Place des Fêtes". Since then this manifestation happens every year all around the world (United States, Australia, Chile, Belgium, Austria, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Mexico...). But there still inequalities toward this topic... So let's work together to make the world a better place !!!
