bathing experience DWELLING

STUDIO DESIGN 4

The goals was to provide client the same bathing experience as in the existing place. Recreated an atmsophere of Bali Gitgit Waterfall in the plateau area with the height about 35 meters and it is surrounded by tropical tree and emits the constantly natural water debit during the year.

Materials

Notes To create the exact feeling of Gitgit waterfall, round shape is used as a module which then repeated with different proportion and shape to create a rhythm. Surrounded by stone walls with a maximum height of 2 m, which is originally a rock cliff. Two waterfalls are placed side by side with two ponds that have different depths. Using two main materials to create a contrast between the water and the environment, as in the existing place. 2016

Notes The bathing pavilion was formed using a circle module that represents the form of the waterfall and from the previous project. The shape is applied to the entire bathing pavilion, especially the stairs and the bathub area. Beside being a transition area, the stairs with different height and proportion, also to provide the same experience when heading to the Gitgit waterfall.

BICYCLE REMODELLING hobby space

DWELLING - HOBBY SPACE STUDIO DESIGN 4 Creating a space which can facilitate mr. Baskoro Junianto, a product designer who loves riding and remodelling the bike. He needs a space to modify the bike, keep the equipment and spare parts, and a space to put or even display some bike collection that he has.


DESIGN PROCESS

Consists of lines and circles but the shape of the circle is more prominent because its identity of bicycle.

the bike itself is dominated by metal frames on the body parts. transform to line.

HOW TO CREATE THE “BIKE� FEELING WHEN WE ENTERED THE AREA WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT THE OBJECT.

Notes A hobby space for client who have a hobby to remodelling the bike is formed with circular and rectangle shape. starting from plan to the work table form. the selection of the material like concrete floor, solid wood and hollow steel is to give a masculine and firm impression.

BICYCLE REMODELLING apartement

DWELLING - STUDIO APARTEMENT

STUDIO DESIGN 4 Continuity of the previous project, we create the same hobby space for the same client, but this one located in 5500 x 5700 m studio apartement. This apartment is the second home for clients, visited once in a week. A place to release stress and away from the daily situation with doing his hobby.

Notes The concept of this project is communal area, which cames from the design problem. This apartment is a private area, which is only used to rest and assemble the bicycle. However, on the other hand, the client likes to invite his friends to just hang out. This apartment layout is designed so that mr. Junianto can do bike assembling activities, and chatting with his friends at the same time. Can be seen on the dining table placed directly opposite the work area.

Notes Has a difference floor height in the bed area. Raised floor is useful for saving and define the space. in addition, there is a hidden storage that is useful for storing important or personal objects. The wardrobe designed open and not closed because with an open storage, users tend to be more neatly in compiling their stuff. The bike assembling area has a round table that can spin to make it easier for clients to do their hobbies.

Notes Besides being dining and cooking area, the pantry also become an area to welcome and receiving the guests or living room of this apartement. This area is directly opposite to the work area, so that the guests who sit, can chat directly with clients, when he was doing the bike assembling activities.

Notes The bike and tires storage area designed open and vertical to make client easier take the object he needs and to saving the space. The bike storage places besides the entry door, so that client can directly hang the bike after entering the apartement. There’s a low ramp to help raising the bike to wall, and can be use as shoes storage under it.

Flower shop RETAIL

STUDIO DESIGN 5

The store name is hana boutique flower and located in Plaza Indonesia, this small store have not remodeled since they open. The brand it self is from Japan and have an elegant yet simple style. In this project, student will renew the interior of the store with a whole different concept, but carried the brand identiity.

Notes The goals is to ceating a flower shop that make the buyer having an exciting experience when they comes to buying or even just looking at the flowers in this store. creating an interactive relationship between the florist and the coming buyer, as well as the buyer with the product he / she bought. The layout pattern is a combination of square and circle shape that is designed based on the buyer and seller flow activity. When entering the store, buyer will be able to see directly the flowers and accessories that are sold. Behind it there is a self-service area for flower arranging activity. On the right is where the staff works, while on the left is a cashier area, consultation, and artificial flowers diplay. 2017

Notes Based on the goals, the self-service area becomes the main area, where visitors can choose the flowers they want, then take it directly to the self-service area and start arranging their own flowers with various equipment that already provided. There are also instructions on how to arrange and wrap flowers, mounted on the wall to facilitate the visitor.

Notes The concept of this restaurant is authentic means representing one’s true nature or beliefs. Which came from the problem of pizza, as the main menu. That this days pizza is unhealthy and junk food stereotype. The design wants to bringing back the context of pizza itself, street food, healthy and intended for every society. And most important, to feel how italian food should be enjoyed.

Notes The layout devided into three zone which is public, semi private and private area. When entering the restaurant, visitors will be greeted by front desk as a cashier and waiting area, this area is an area of transition from outside into the restaurant. Then they’ll meet the main dining area, which is bar and has an outdoor ambience,that represent the whole concept, so everyone who come here can really feel they eat in the street and somehow feel accepted without no one feel intimidate by the design since the market is”every society”. The next area is a semi-public area, which has a warmer mood, thus giving the impression of entering a house. On the second floor there is a private area, a slightly more luxurious style, this area is reserved for visitors who want to gather together without any interference from outside.

Notes How might we create space that accommodate every users? it requires the flexibility of space as a solution of design problems with the optimization and effectiveness of space in the design of the office. The design will be applied with versatility system. with this concept a space can be done with the use of a multifunctional space. able to accommodate several activities at different times in the same space. Creating an office that encourages employee creativity with a flexible, casual, fun and collaborative design that lets employees feel comfortable working and spending most of their time in the office.
