MARIO’S WORLD

Question 1: What is Pictorial Space according to Le Corbusier? (Maximum 100 words) From the extract, Le Corbusier’s view of Pictorial Space is stated as which cannot be entered or circulated through; it is irremediably space viewed from a distance, and is therefore eternally resigned to frontality. It simply conveys that the use of flatness gives a sense of depth, yet cannot be recognised physically.

Question 2: The Flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting’s are attributable to two properties. What are they? And what are these pitted against?(Maximum 100 words) The depht or distance is one of the properties that attribute the flatness of Le Corbusier’s painting since it represents the space separating from another. Another attributor is colour or texture which efficetively call attentions to the inherent superficiality, yet, the distance is no longer representing the pictorial space

Question 1: Explain the difference between Pictoral (in this case perspectival) space and Projection? (Maximum 100 words) Pictorial space portrays the true vision of the image, yet the measurement is not true in drawing. It is usually illustrated from a single view point or two points. On the other hand, projection presents unseen views and focuses more on delivering accurate dimensions and technical drawing.

Question 2: Where did Axonometric projection first arise, and why? (Maximum 100 words) Axonometric projection first arised in a military context because of the true three dimensioned projection is clean and accurate. The presentation is easily to be comprehended and charted trajectories of artillery projectiles.

A digital illstrated of Mario’s World created with Adobe Illustrator software programme. It is fully coloured to show deeper depht and shadow.
