The idea is to make the wall, ceiling and floor as a blank canvas (therefore it’s mostly white) for the display to pop with the help of the colour in the furniture. Making the display pop out will attract and guide people to their target therefore the idea of maximizing user’s time in such minimal space will be do-able. GROCERIES BULK STORE an open plan store with warm atmosphere, welcoming people to wander around freely with no distraction on their sight, this way people coming here will save up their time trying to find what they need because the signage is clear.

BREAKFAST BAR AND ICE CREAM PARLOR asnwering the problem of worker’s habit to leave their breakfast, this bar provide healthy and traditional breakfast menu all day. for added fun points, ice cream parlor is also provided, mainly targeting kids who wait for their parents to shop around the building. this is another idea to jampacked another function to the building, maximizing its own space.

LOCAL APPAREL STORE looking at a bigger picture, shop locally will not only help local brand, but also reduce the transport’s energy. by introducing people to local brand, this will also be sustainable for the future impact. the shop itself let the product speaks by themselves, highlighting the product by the play of drop ceiling and brass materials.

In here, people can buy daily food supplies in bulk order while creating no waste. The green and wood colour act as a highlight of where the products are. All the signage is readable from every side therefore people won’t waste their time searching for what they need. The flow in this area is directed by the furniture, either by the colour, the form, or the placement. The cashier located in the back of the room with extra backdrop to act as a focal point.

Built In Multi Function Display The 2 different materials finishing display highlights each function. Since the store should have an immediate refill station and to maximize tenant’s time, the bottom part of the display become storage for products on the display (also maximize the space function). The curvy, green display act as a attractive point to divert tuserʟs attention to the storage part.

Cleaning supplies store with no waste concept. People can buy detergent, soap, etc in bulk order. It also introduce alternatives everyday tools such as loufah or bamboo toothbrush to the user, in order to let them influence others to consider the alternatives. The beauty store provides customizable make up aisle so user can personalized their make up. They also can make their own scented perfume that can be tested by smelling the display tubes on the window. Integrated with the restaurant upstairs, this floor also provides seating area that can be used for accompanies that is waiting while enjoying food, like ice cream, from upstairs.
