MODELS
BASE MODEL DEVELOPMENT
by twisting in different direction, it creates its own contradicting space. either it’s void or solid. it creates illusion of enlarging and/or
by twisting it creates path and slight levelling. it creates it own boundaries and directions.
a repititive pattern following the twist creates surfaces or can give its own spatial qualities to the space underneath.
by twisiting it gives illusion of boundaries and encapsulated.
RAW TRACING COLLAGE
TRACING 1
LOOKED AS A PLAN, TWISTING WITH ANGLE. FROM THE RIGHT SIDE TO THE LEFT SIDE, IT ENLARGES. IN THE MIDDLE PART THERE ARE VERTICAL BOUNDARIES CREATING A MORE ENCLOSED SPACE.
TRACING 2
LOOKED AS A PLAN, TWISTING WITH MORE ORGANIC MOVEMENT.. FROM THE RIGHT SIDE TO THE LEFT SIDE, IT ENLARGES. IN THE MIDDLE PART THERE ARE VERTICAL BOUNDARIES CREATING A MORE ENCLOSED SPACE. THE STRAIGHT RED LINE IN THE RIGHT BOTTOM SIDE INDICATE A DIRECT GUIDE TO WHERE THE FLOW SHOULD GO.
TRACING 3
LOOKED AS A PLAN, TWISTING WITH MORE ORGANIC MOVEMENT.. FROM THE LEFT SIDE TO THE MIDDLE AND TWISTING AGAIN TO THE LEFT SIDE, IT ENLARGES. IN THE MIDDLE PART THERE ARE VERTICAL BOUNDARIES CREATING A MORE ENCLOSED SPACE WITH DIRECT FLOW.. THE SHADOWING ON THE CURVATURE INDICATES THE LIGHT THAT GOES THROUGH.

how : twisting upward while creating a continous contradict, following the 3D program diagram. (-) it creates problem with the height and structure. it doesn’t respond well with the surrounding height in thVe site and the program seems to be wasteful and doesn’t fulfill the minimum space dimension.
FINAL DEVELOPMENT

side elevation
abstraction
how : twisting horizontally creates more even distributed boundaries in the same level. levelling is being done slightly and not extremely, so the height problem can be solved. (-) continous roof is expected.
