COMMITTEES & OFFICERS

Pursuant to the Bylaws, each delegate is appointed, by the Knight Commander, to one of the three standing committees of the Convention. These will be a separate handout.

LEGISLATIVE - This committee reviews proposed amendments to the Constitution or Bylaws, holds discussions, and either does or does not take action. They then make recommendations in the form of a report, to the Convention.

RESOLUTIONS - Resolutions are crafted honoring or memorializing members and nonmembers, and various other topics. The committee’s report is read into the record and considered by the Convention.

FINANCE - The Order’s budget and financial statements are explained, discussed, and reviewed in a report to the Convention.
