Bleard's TBW

Trinity buoy wharf • Trinity buoy wharf was originally the storage of oil. • Trinity buoy wharf was a local employer producing about 150 engineers, platers, riveters, pattern markers, blacksmith, tinsmiths, carpenters, paintings, chain testers and labourers working there. TBW was a voluntary association of shipmen and mariners . At first wooden buoys and sea markers were stored there and a mourning was provided for their trinity yacht , this was used to collect the buoys after maintenance and repairs During the 19 hundreds before regeneration, it continued to supply and maintain buoys and light ships between Southwold in Suffolk and Dungeness in Kent . It was modernised and partially rebuilt between 1947 and 1966 and closed on the 3rd of December 1988. It was purchased by the London docklands development cooperation . In 1998 urban space management took the site on a long lease Since 1998 TBW has seen a stream of artists, photographers, designer-makers, web designers and small businesses settle in at the low-cost workspace and studios . Since 1998 it was an empty site now it’s a place with studios for creative people workspace for people as this place provides many activities for the public such as indoor and outdoor spaces for art events. The problems of the site is that it is outdated although it is a historical figure there are certain things which don’t fit in such as the fact that it has become a tourist destination , more cars around making it a public place when it is supposed to be a place for creative people to gather ideas for this place. It has potential due to its location being in London , there is not much sunlight due to the location, it is a big space to explore its located on the edge of land near the water.
