irst, we dream. Caught by the dreamlike landscape of these pictures made of double exposure. Then, we get closer and we see. Finally ! We see. A girl who grasps her crotch. A man who is immersed in soft light. Another one who shows his belly button. Another girl who shows her bruises. Like a girl. Like a boy. All of it is of the order of codes. We are ashamed so we keep quiet. These photographs bear and point out. As in a dream, the artist offers her everyday life without shame. Trying with all her strength to be part of the creation of a new visual culture, the images are no longer quiet, but want noisy. Today, we are in a need to expand our vision, to create twisting codes and nuance our statements concerning the caracteristics we attribute to genders. Tomboy or fairy mean nothing.

n this diptychs serie, landscapes and body come together, interact and respond to each others. If there is still self-portraits it is however not an inward reflection that is issued. The nature associated to body allows an opening on one elsewhere. And it is indeed here a question about the “me�, but the individuality remains that most affected. Like a breath, like a pause, like a time of contemplation, to devote to the outside world but also her own body. An invitation to reconsider far from any dictate is suggested, but never imposed. Working on feminity and how to define it. If it possible. Because for me, feminity depends on women. Every woman has her own way to live her feminity. Through my photographic work I want to give this little push for every woman to define her own definition of feminity. I want every woman to be as close as possible to what she is really. And not to feel she has to follow the same usual sterreotypes about what it is to be a woman. Exit the obligation to be thin, to be tall, to have long legs, flat belly and big ass and breast. Exist the idea that women are docile, sweet and weak. We can be what we want !
