Autumn/Winter 2015/16 "short story"
I
n my travels, I happened to come upon a woman who taught e a very great deal about fashion, and she was very unique. She had the luxury to travel in time. She had an extremely difficult name to pronounce and not down, I shant make the effort! She loved fashion you see! And the best way for her to understand it – was to experience it. Why, one of her most significant travels was as far as the 18th century! And oh how she loved wearing corsets under her dresses and rides in horseback. I can’t help but giggle when she would reminisce about the 50’s and complain how glamour was never the same. But ‘oh wow!’ she would say, “this is truly the time to be whoever you want to be and at anytime. In this age, we all share the luxury of being experimental. Fashion makes it so easy now to be so expressive, the rules have gone and left”, I remember her saying with a grin. K-Forecasting-4

lack, the safest most common color known to fashion since forever. This season for autumn winter 2015/16, the black and whites are back! Many outfits were focused on the conrast of both colors. Also when it comes to the silhouettes those its not easy to see but this contrast also played a big role. The jackets were were puffy and slightly oversized while the pants were fitted and slim. Its also the play with the common checkered pattern, the prints were the design in the shirts, dressed and sweatshirts. So this is the season for you to grab all you black and whites mix them together and walk down the street knowing you're on that latest trend. Worry nt about weather the colors are plain and dull, its the time to play it safe and classic with the colors.

SAY IT ALL, SAY IT WITH
ur, fur, fur...have we ever had a season when fur wasn't in? Clearly fur is a timeless ornament in fashion. This season and in these few collections, fur is mixed with different fabrics in a garment. From jackets to slippers, Gucci went that extra mile and designed a pair of slippers with a fur lining on the inside. Is this going or taking it to far? With the entire look maybe a pair of furry slip-ons would just be that extra something to make your outfit the "it factor". Every fashionista deffinitly has at least one furry item in her wardrobe, so this season designers want you to bring those out giving new ideas and ways in how to wear these furry warm items. They are the winters "Pass par tout" they go with any and everything, just throw them on and feel the confidence, unless you're stopped by animal rights protestors!
FURRRR!
One of the most populare looks that used touches of fur was Jean Harlow in the movie "Dinner at eight" in 1933. And then most popular is the. Dynasty TV series in the 80's and themost recent movie "Anna Kerenina" in 2012 that showcases 19thcenturyRussian high society fashion.

t began in the 1800's, these long coats were designed for horse backriding. It was difficult for women back then to get on horses with their complex garments, hence these rodingoates were created to make womens lives easier to get on and off horse, since these were there main measn of transportation. Who knew that these coats made for riding purposes would later become the trend for severl designers. Its funny how things to make life easier become the modern trend?

Spring/Summer 2016 "short story"
H
e put down his pen and began to dream, an unfamiliar dream it was! It was a man mesmerized by a bright box, “a bright screen of wonders” he thought. He took a closer look and what he saw left him in awe! Colors, different colors, shapes, shapes of all sizes, all in one bright box. A mess he thought, what is this unexplainable task this man is doing he thought. When all of a sudden door behind him opened and a bright light shined through, cascading the way as she walked into the room. She was different from he women he had seen, she was much taller, with hair tied up in mess, skin as soft as the hands can feel. But to his shock his eye was plastered on that shocking cloth she had on. Is that the garment of a woman he thought? Fabric ever so light making it seem as though the dress is about to evaporate into thin air, cuts so dramatic she could be naked. But those colors, those shapes on the dress he had seen those before. He immediately turned to the bright box and there they were! “Its was done on a big bright box I tell you. She walked out with the same image that was on the box. This is the future I tell you, a futuristic turn to what we know as fashion!” The towns people looked at him in dismay and walked away. K-Forecasting-20

as it ever not been denim season you might ask? Well...never, it's never not been denim season, however the play with denim this season is to have it all over you. This year if you're going to have denim on, you'd better have it all over you, and by that meaning have it on you from head to toe! From your bag to you shirt to you shoes get the denim look.

GO FOR THE METAL&LEATHER
I
ts a grungy look this season as well, aside from the denim and nighties, the hard metalic grunge look is in as well. Very different from the rest but looks like you have alot of opitions to choose from this season. Weather you fit to be a girly girl walking down in you nighty looka-like dress of prefer to go for the denim you're definitly to be in style. But if you're more of an edgy kinda girl then this look is the one for you. From Louis Vuittion to Philipp Plein you can get a look to suit your metalic mood, ofcourse matching it up with a pair of black studed ankle boots and a black and chained clutch. Dark colors are no longer out for spring and summer, and neither is leather, so dont pack up those leather jackets you have just yet, because you never know when you might want to walk down the street showing off your edgy rock mood for the day.
L
eather has always been associated with rock music, particularly in the form of the iconic leather jacket, and it has never really left women's wardrobes in ready-to-wear and accessories. But this season has seen it move more into the limelight and take many different forms. This comeback is also due to the strong 1970s trend which could still be seen on the catwalks 2016 collections. Fashionistas will be able to get their fix of leather in its more classic forms and will also be able to put together outfits with more modern and feminine pieces.
