- I think the workload was evenly spaced out for this class so you had time to prepare from each big thing. The work load for this class was appropriate. With so much to learn it takes some time, but as long as you stay on task, - it works. I used a big calendar and wrote everything down, including due dates, and found that this method worked well for me. - writing so many papers was kind of annoying, but helpful in the long run, so its all good :) -
I feel that the workload for the class was a bit overwhelming. We had 7 papers to write. Aside from that workload was fine.

It was appropriate for a college level course. What you put into it you get out of it, Dr. Salvador truly encouraged us to stretch.
- Just right. I had other classes that demanded way more of my time. Ans this class was perfect work load - Sometimes all of the work that was to be done seemed like a good amount but overall not bad. I think the blog's journals and class work was a bit much. Between all of this it equaled out to six page papers at least - every week. Was more work than I had heard from other students who had differnt instructors. They only had to review one concert not two. - workload was appropriate

- I really enjoyed the professors teaching style The blog assignments were great. It is interesting to see so may different opinions and how we differ in tastes and - ideas. Good way to communicate with classmates. I like the concert assignments as well because it offered me (and my family) a chance to experience things we had never looked into, giving us some great times and memories. - writing papers helped me to learn the material better. - the instructors knowledge of the subject and willingness to work with students I truly appreciated the positive manner in which each of us as students were dealt with. Dr. Salvador remained positive
- and encouraging. She was reasonable and fair while pointing out errors and was skillful in turning those errors into learning opportunities. - The fact that I've learned to dissect music not just lyrically but instrumentally as well - The blogs. - The history of music - Professor and how he made it a lot of fun. - learning new ways of listening to music

- Absolutely nothing, overall this was a wonderful class to take with a great professor! -
Can't think of anything right now because I am completely satisfied with this learning opportunity. The instructor is great and the workload do-able. I would highly recommend this class and instructor to anyone!

She was a wonderful instructor. Always gave good constructive feedback for improvement, or if you did good- she would point out what she liked best, which was motivating.
- less papers As a web-based course, I can imagine that there may be a technical component that may cause confusion. For - example, what we may be seeing may be formatted differently from what the instructor sees. It may be helpful for the instructor to be able to log in as a student to see what we are seeing. No real problems arose thankfully. - NOTHING GREAT TEACHER -
I would like to see a course more specific to genres of music such as rock-n-roll, blues. It was hard to break down the music but instructor was fair on her grading and offered great! explanations when you were having trouble.
- Nothing class was great! Karen is one of my favorite professors I've ever had! - well taught
