(6 of 10)

- The workload was fine. - I enjoyed and learned from everything we did, especially the peer teaching activities. -

It was a fair workload. Assignments were very in depth, and required application of skills learned, which was challenging in a positive way.

- Good amount made me work outside of class. -

There was a lot of work in this class. I spent a great deal of outside class time working on homework for this class compared to all my other classes. I felt like some of the activities still could have been done just without as much detail or material.

- Completely fair.

Q8 - What are the strengths of the course? Response Rate: 60.00%

(6 of 10)

- How to use music in the classroom even if the class isn't music. - Getting in groups and doing activites, we learn from eachother. - It pushed out limits, and really required us to apply ourselves. I feel like I gained a lot from this course. - Fun class teacher gave lots on information for future classes and teaching strategies." - Creating lesson plans. - The instructor and in field observations.

Q9 - What did you like best about the course? Response Rate: 70.00%

(7 of 10)

- All the exercises in the class. from day one we were dancing and singing. - I loved doing the observations. They were fun and inspiring. The instructor. Dr. Salvador is amazing! She expects a lot from the students, but in a way where we can achieve it. She is very proficient, and you can just tell she was a wonderful teacher, which makes her a wonderful mentor to her students. She made the class fascinating, very hands on! It was NOT an easy class, at all! However, she taught in such a way that it made it fun to be challenged. I enjoyed this class and hope I have her again. - Every class had fun but also learned a lot of information. -

For it being here first time being a professor on campus, she did an excellent job! I enjoyed having her as a professor and would definitely have her again. Always positive and worked one on one with us to see us succeed.

- I liked going to the elementary music classes and being able to see what they were doing. That was my favorite part. - The instructor and her knowledge base and passion for the subject.

Q10 - What suggestions would you make for the improvement of the course? Response Rate: 60.00%

(6 of 10)

- None - n/a Technology wise, we did not have much technological support for the room we were in, and what we had didn't work well. Compared to other classrooms on campus, ours was not set up well technologically. This was disappointing because Dr. Salvador tried to - incorporate things with the computer and speakers, but we didn't have the support and she had to modify her lessons. The room we were in NEEDS a working stereo system, and a better projection system. It is really sad how much money we pay to go to this school and we cannot even get adequate technology in the classrooms. I'm very disappointed. - Nothing so fun loved it. -

Cut back a little on the workload, especially at the beginning of the semester and the end. Maybe start the lesson plans sooner in the semester, instead of packing them all in at the end.

- More detailed descriptions of what is expected with lesson planning.
