MotivationThere are many reasons for the motivation of the individual wanting this tourist experience including fun, activities, cuisine, destination, culture. Its important the brochure uses a range of colour, images, text so it will appeal to the target market and attract them and influence to buy this tourist experience. ColourThe main colour scheme is blue and white. This theme is used as there cold colours and fits the theme of the skiing and snowboarding. The colours used can be seen as winter colours.

Target MarketThis package suits the needs and expectations of expert skiers and individuals wanting an adventurous winter sports experience because it offers a wide range of activities and adventure this target market require. TextThe text used is Century Gothic, this text has been used as its curved and a fun font. This gives the impression that skiing and snowboarding is a fun activity. Although the font is fun, its still plain and basic and this show a serious side. This may help people understand that the winter sports can be dangerous. ImageImage is an important aspect of the brochure. The images used show thrill and dare, this is used so that people understand what the target market is. Many may find the images scary. The images used also give a perception of the destination, from the images you can see that Austria is cold in winter months. PriceThe price shows that the package is open to people who like skiing and snowboarding. The price shows that you do not have to be rich to afford this type of holiday.


Page OneThe front page includes two images of winter sports. The images used are bold and bright to catch the eye. There is also white text, the text is white to match the theme. The text is smaller than the images, this shows the main attention on the front page is for snow and winter sports.

Page FiveThe fifth page is very similar to page four, the divided boxes are used again. This makes the text easier to read. The image at the top of the page focus’s on skiing. Again this shows the main focus of the brochure and that skiing, snowboarding and snow is the most important area.

Page TwoThe second page includes an image covering the background. The image shows skiers, as its so big this shows its important. The contents are in a smaller box below, the arrows used show adventure. This page shows the main focus is winter sports and action.

Page SixPage six uses a range of images as the divided boxes cover different resorts. The images used show the viewer the resorts. Showing different images is important, it gives the viewer a better understanding. Divided boxes are used, this method is good for long text.

Page ThreeThe third page has divided boxes, this is due to the amount of information. The text shows facilities, this also helps identify the target market. Relevant images show what the information is saying. 3* rating for the hotel helps identity the target market.

Page SevenThere is an image on top of the page, this shows another image. This shows the focus of the brochure. There are two long textboxes, this shows the information for the itinerary. Dates in the text are big, this is to make it clear.

Page FourThe fourth page has divided boxes, this is due to the amount of information. There is a big picture at the top of the page, as its so big it shows the main focus on the page. The image focus’s on snowboarding.

Page Eight/Page NineThe final page has the same layout as page seven. However the image used shows that a winter sports holiday can be a relaxing. However the thrill seeking winter experience is still available. Page nine shows an overview of Austria and Kitzbühel.


KitzbühelThe hotel is location in the world famous Kitzbühel. The Kitzbühel alps cover over 700km of slopes and snow. A fantastic choice for more experienced skiers. Tourists in Kitzbühel can use 56 cable cars and lift facilities. 168 kilometres of slopes are available to them, as well as 40 km of crosscountry skiing tracks. Snow Magazine(2016)

FieberbrunnFieberbrunn is a hidden gem that delivers a big-mountain ski experience with superb snow, uncrowded trails and exciting fun for all skiers and snowboarders. Fieberbrunn includes powdery bowls, obstacles and jumps. Perfect resort for a winter sports extremist's dream. Tyrol(2016)

St Johann13km away, St Johann offers 12 resorts. St Johann's ski resorts can be accessed from five different points. Intermediates and advanced skiers will be satisfied with St Johann resorts. As St Johann is a vast area, chair lifts are available for transportation around the resort. St Johann is a superb destination for snowboarders, incorporating a 60m half pipe. The town is approximately 660 metres, fantastic town for tourists to visit. Snow Magazine(2016)

KirchdorfKirchdorf is a very attractive village, in a pretty valley setting within the Wilder Kaiser Mountains. Snowboarding and skiing for experts is limited in Kirchdorf although its not a bad place to learn before hitting the bigger resorts and slopes. Off the slopes Kirchdorf is a friendly, relaxed village. Kirchdorf’s 17 restaurants generally serve traditional Austrian and Tyrolean specialities. Kirchdorf village is fantastic for tourists to visit.


Tuesday 10th January. Flight/Transfer. Arrive at destination, Check into hotel. Afternoon welcome meeting at the hotel is required after check-in, at the welcome meeting a ski pass and equipment will be provided.

Wednesday 11th January. Spend the first morning skiing/snowboarding and enjoy the beauty of Austrian resorts.

First chance to hit the slopes with a late afternoon ski/snow boarding session. Feel free to enjoy all the local resorts including Kitzbuhel 2km (Hotels Location) St Johann 13km, Kirchdorf 16km, Fieberbrunn 22.6km (Transport provided for all resorts)

After a morning of skiing/snowboarding a few hours of snow biking is optional. A cable car is available to catch up the mountain. A quick demonstration will be provided and then let the gravity take you home! Or continue skiing and snowboarding, there’s so much choice. Alternative sports are available for an additional cost including balloon trips, iceskating, flying fox course plus much more.

On the evening arrive home for a complementary free Austrian dinner. Enjoy Traditional Tyrolean ribs, Jacket potato, salad & garlic bread. Finish the evening with an apple strudel and complementary drinks. Gapyear(1998)

Thursday 12th January. Another early start for skiing and snowboarding. Why not take on those mountains and ski jumps if you feel daring! Feel free to enjoy all the local resorts, all resorts have different jumps and difficulty ratings. The higher the difficulty the more serious and daring your ski opportunity is. Transport is available for all ski resorts. Why not enjoy an afternoon tobogganing on Wilder Kaiser Mountain. A shuttle will take you up the mountain, then toboggan back down the mountain. If you've never tobogganed before, it's a lot of fun. Spend the evening at St Johann Ski Show. Watch the experts at the amazing ski stunt show. An extremely popular weekly event in Tirol. Friday 13th January. Begin your day with a trip to St. Johann for a morning paragliding session. This action packed opportunity will give you a special buzz for your extreme winter sports experience. Spend an hour of your afternoon on a winter Segway tour. After a few minutes training from your experienced guide, you will be the master of this amazing machine. This will be a truly unique and fun experience. Spend the rest of your afternoon jumping the slopes and enjoying the snow. This will your final chance!
