"IS THERE ANY MEANS TO EXPLORE NATURE SIMPLER, QUICKER AND MORE EFFICIENT THAN THE BICYCLE? DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF AND WHERE YOU PLAN TO STAY, CHOOSE THE CLOSEST TRACK AND ENJOY IN AN INTERESTING CYCLING ADVENTURE." (GORSKI KOTAR, 2016)

According to Standeven and DeKnop (1999) any kind of sport tourism, including cycling tourism, benefits the host community and sport tourist in many ways. They (1999, p.210) continue that “ a positive outcomes are a positive impact on land use, psychological benefits to the host community, promotion of cultural understanding and preservation of traditions. ” Furthermore, Momentum (2013) says that “bicycle tourism re-frames bicycling, moving it from just a “quality of life” issue for local residents, to a powerful economic asset.” Moreover, Total Croatia News (2015) claim that “cycling tourism in Croatia is recording a 20% growth globally and has other significant effects from development of the local economy, decrease in global pollution to direct positive effect on people's health.” They (2013) continue that Croatia has an amazing potential for cycling tourism. With this in mind, this brochure has been made for sustainable travelers looking for an adventure through cycling. In Croatia are a lot of bike routes made for bike travelers. According to Gifford and Madden (2004) adventure travel means travelling solo with minimal equipment with a huge enthusiasm for bold, low-impact, self-reliant journeys. It has to be an original and unique holiday with a lot of new adventures. It is for all people in good health condition, beginners and professionals, young and old. For everyone who is able to travel on bike - individual or in a small groups.
