COURSE OBJECTIVES
To develop communicative competence and business vocabulary knowledge To provide students with the necessary skills for effective professional managerial communication To practice business register awareness through the drafting of various business documents

After having taken this course, participants will be able to/are expected to know or understand (knowledgebased outcomes) • •
LO1 the recruitment process, the requisite application documents and the behavioral job interview technique LO2 business presentations and meetings language and techniques
More specifically, participants should be able to (skill- and competency-based outcomes) • •
L03 pitch their idea of a new product or service to potential investors LO4 participate actively and effectively in professional managerial situations (recruitment, business meetings, business presentations)
PREREQUISITES Students are expected have reached at least a C1 level to be comfortable in this course. Remedial resources will be available at the beginning of the semester on Blackboard if extra grammatical and/or lexical work is needed.
