Αντί προλόγου Το Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης και η εικαστική ομάδα TeeToTuM διοργάνωσαν την 3η Διεθνή συνάντηση Ταχυδρομικής Τέχνης με βάση τη φωτογραφία και θέμα: "DADA no DADA." Η συνάντηση αυτή εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο σειράς εκδηλώσεων που πραγματοποίηθηκαν στη Θεσσαλονίκη από το Φωτογραφικό Κέντρο Θεσσαλονίκης με αφορμή τη συμπλήρωση των 100 χρόνων από την ίδρυση του Cabaret Voltaire. Στην έκθεση παρουσιάστηκαν όλα τα έργα των καλλιτεχνών (απ' όλο τον κόσμο) που επιχειρούν να ιχνηλατήσουν στο σήμερα τον απόηχο των πρακτικών του Dada: δηλαδή μηδενιστική διάθεση, απουσία ελέγχου και λογικής, χιούμορ και εφευρετικότητα, ανατρεπτική πολιτική κριτική, θόρυβος, πηγαία δημιουργική ορμή. Σε απόλυτη αντίφαση με το πνεύμα των ντανταϊστών, που αναμφίβολα θα ήταν οι πιο σφοδροί πολέμιοι αυτής της «επετειακής» πρωτοβουλίας, είναι εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρουσα η ανάδειξη της «αντι-τέχνης» του σήμερα, των αιρετικών και ρηξικέλευθων εικαστικών προτάσεων που, αν βεβαίως υπάρχουν, έχουν ίσως κάτι σημαντικό να μας πουν. Τον Φεβρουάριο του 2016 συμπληρώθηκαν 100 χρόνια από την έναρξη της λειτουργίας του Cabaret Voltaire στη Ζυρίχη, του χώρου που φιλοξένησε τις πρώτες δράσεις του κινήματος του Dada. Ακριβώς δύο χρόνια αργότερα, ο Tristan Tzara, εμβληματική φυσιογνωμία των ντανταϊστών, εξέδωσε το δεύτερο μανιφέστο του κινήματος, διακηρύσσοντας: «Γράφω αυτό το μανιφέστο για να δείξω ότι οι άνθρωποι μπορούν να κάνουν ταυτόχρονα αντιθετικές ενέργειες στη διάρκεια μιας δροσερής ανάσας. Είμαι κατά της δράσης, και όσο για τη διαρκή αντίφαση ή την κατάφαση, δεν είμαι ούτε υπέρ ούτε κατά και δεν πρόκειται να εξηγήσω τι εννοώ γιατί μισώ την κοινή λογική. Είμαι κατά των συστημάτων. Το πιο αποδεκτό σύστημα είναι να μην έχεις επί της αρχής κανένα σύστημα.» Tristan Tzara, 1918
Photography Center of Thessaloniki and artist group TeeToTuM Organize the 3rd International Photo Based Mail Art exhibition:“DADA No DADA” This exhibition is part of a series of events that will take place in Thessaloniki, on the occasion of 100 years since the founding of Cabaret Voltaire. The exhibition will present all the works of artists (from all over the world) who will attempt to trace in today echoes the practices of Dada: such as nihilistic side, lack of control and logic, humor and ingenuity, subversive political criticism, noise and source creative momentum. In complete contradiction with the spirit of the Dadaists, which undoubtedly will be the most violent opponents of this “anniversary” initiative, it is extremely interesting to highlight the “anti-art” today, heretical and groundbreaking visual proposals, although of course there are, maybe they have something important to tell us. In February 2016 has been the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, a place that hosted the first actions of the Dada movement. Just two years later on 1918, Tristan Tzara, emblematic figure of the Dadaists, issued the second manifesto of the movement, declaring: “I write this manifesto to show that people can perform contrary actions together while taking one fresh gulp of air; I am against action; for continuous contradiction, for affirmation too, I am neither for nor against and I do not explain because I hate common sense.”
